Yes! The implementation of the timer was huge. That helped this tourney go so well. As mentioned, Darkblade can take some long turns. I’ve been against him where he took 15+minute turns… lol. The timer kept the games at a good pace and the excitement high. Was easier to follow the action as well. I still feel like the time when a defender is choosing a a defense after an attack is made should be timed… but idk how it would work. There were moments in the finals, where it felt like the players were mathing out all possible outcomes during the untimed defense selection phase. Not a fan of that.
GGs guys...these two players are my favorite ones, with magnificent play style. I have to admit that they always manage to surprise me. This is the finals of my dreams... could not asked for more...well maybe DB playing little red :) i also love chads wukong and Bloody marry :)
Thanks for the kind words! This Grand Finals match is hands down my favorite set of Unmatched I've ever played. Chad is an awesome dude, and I'm glad we got to take it to Game 5. I would've loved to have played Red as well, but she was banned out in the second round of the draft, Chad knew not to let me get ahold of her, haha.
That’s the answer… having Zero as your practice partner. 😭 You can play a million games against bad players and you’d only ever be so good… play a handful of games against the best and you’ll grow exponentially.
Very true! The more you challenge yourself the better you get. Most people don't like losing, but you learn a lot more from losing than you do winning.
