A story plays out in my head every time I listen to this , a windswept Scottish fishing village with yer man slumped over a table with a dram glass in his hand and Maggie the 'wee wifie' persuading him to come awa ' hame. I dont think Dick Gaughan ever sang or played a better song than this🙂

A very touching rendition of a piece played well, from the heart :)
Haunting
Takes me back to mid 1970s, Val and Ronnie played this album. I had a lot of good albums, but this claimed its place.
