Priorities changes quickly, injuries to our forwards have made this good addition of Gakpo imminent. Keita & Ox are fit in the midfield so we can wait for the right additions in jan & summer transfer to refresh our midfield. We have not added to our departed Origi & Minamino in the forwards. So this addition though it was a surprise is the right decision by Liverpool.
Keita and Ox need to be sold. They are just not good enough anymore.

@@rgwrgw2278 it's insane. How are we able to pull off these signings like Gakpo but we have to keep players like Keita, Ox, Adrian, Philips, Gomez and Jones? Hendo is an amazing player and I do think he should still be in the team but he's very old, so is Milly. They are both getting out-paced and out-thought by these youngsters.
I also do not understand how we haven't invested more money into better medical treatment, conditioning and doctors for the squad.
Klopp is putting too much faith in the youngsters to build the team right now. Maybe without injuries that would have been possible.

When you think how much we paid for Keita.. The fee we paid for him is nothing in today's football.. Hopefully he will shine..and play without any pressure and let his feet do the talking.

I am. I the only Liverpool fan that thinks when every forward is back fit ,Klopp is going to have a huge problem with selection and keeping the players happy , as well as that the money would of been better spent in the aging midfield.

We’re in enough competitions to keep players happy IMO but Bobby might end up leaving. And I wouldn’t worry about a midfielder because they’re clearly working on one. Something tells me they got something up their sleeve
Don't be surprised if you see him playing as a goal scoring midfielder in Klopp's system at times. Klopp loves flexibility and all of his forwards are versatile for that reason.
@johnnynotenglish9751 yup he is also apparently a very dedicated player and a leader. If true I'm sure he will be the type of player that improves under Klopp.
He will help klopp win FA and Carabao cup like minamino. Then luis diaz will be fit to play for EPL and UCL...

If Klopp does that we are fucked for life with his cheap thinking , Gakpo should be a forward and only a forward , he should go out and buy quality midfielders not putting round pegs in square circles
@@joshuakithyoma9575 100% agree guy definitely, but Kloop has a very different way of thinking like i predicted with Gini i think his going to do the same when all players are fit. I'd really like if he could purchase a CM and CDM. 7th richest team and we only go cheap or have to sell to buy. Gakpo will cover wing until Diaz recovers, then he will rotate him to midfield.

I think Kloop wants to play him as a midfielder his creating his own Bellingham. Like Gini was a LW he moves him central. Gakpo actually looks like he'd do better as a 10 rather than a winger.
