How to Arrange A Bridal Bouquet | DIY wedding bouquet | fresh flower bouquet for wedding

- Why spend so much on bridal bouquets when you can make one yourself.
In this video, I will show you how I made this for one of my sweet customers.
This was a custom made order.
Our bouquets are not that costly, coz currently, we take local orders only(of bouquets). Plus I live in a small village and here things are not that costly.

Beautiful!! Would you prepare this the day before the event? Would u put it in water as you did AND store in the fridge?
I prepared in the evening, the event was at night, as i live in tropical region, i had to keep in water, as its very hot here and it ruins white roses.
I haven’t tried keeping in fridge, just try a sample before doing a real one. Here if we keep anything in the fridge and remove it, it wilt and have lot of condensation, some people even use flower food, just test it was well. Have a great day ahead.😊

I have a question.... hopefully someone can answer for me. So I would love to have a fresh flower bouquet for my Wedding but I also wanted to have my bouquet as a keepsake. If the flowers are going to eventually die do I just suck it up and use fake flowers instead? What do other Brides do? Please help. Thank you
Hi Brandy Nicole,
There are many types of bouquets, like Fresh flower, Artificial flower bouquet, brooch bouquet and many more.
If you want to make specifically a long lasting bouquets, then you can go for artificial flowers like silk, latex artificial flowers, or polymer flowers.
Like fresh flowers even these flowers have pros and cons.

How long it will last?
It depends on climate where you live, and how fresh they are.
How long will the bouquet keep, if you had a wedding at say 12pm noon at what time beforehand the earliest would you make the bouquet so it wouldn't run risk of being wilted?
I don't think white rose can be kept for long time,
Last time a customer wanted it at night 10 pm, so I made it in the evening and kept it in a glass filled with bit water... then delivered it just before half an hour...Coz here functions are crowded and I was afraid a touch may ruin or say stain roses, coz white roses are delicate, and can stain easily....make sure you buy fresh ones. Ask your florist about the variety and how long it can be kept good.

I actually went by flourist yesterday and I put an order in for bright red roses, sunflowers, baby's breath and a few white roses.

Someone told me if I cut the stems whilst under purified water they'll soak in the water and it Will help keep them? True?

Don't you wrap the stems with wet cotton wool? How can it looks fresh when you take out of the water basket ?
The event was in the evening so i dint do plus the customer wanted her bouquet to show the stem under the ribbon
It can be done for full ribbon coverage bouquets.

⭐️I used like around a bunch of roses, here we get like 20 roses in a bunch.
⭐️And baby’s breath, I got a bunch as well, I’m not sure if the size of bunch is universal, I used nearly half of it.
⭐️It depends on the size of bouquet you want to make and how you like it.
⭐️If they are less, it will look beautiful, if they are more, they will look beautiful.
⭐️Some people use more baby’s breath, as it will make your bouquet look much larger with few roses and more free space kind of, some use lot of roses as they want tight or firm looking bouquet.

What kind of white rose did you use in this bouquet?
I usually buy my roses from a local market, only one or two variety of roses are found here, which is Dutch rose/Taj mahal rose.

How do we keep it all day without fading ?
My florist says its hard to keep white roses fresh here, as we live in tropical climate. Have tried lot of methods but nothing works, some say flower food helps alot, but remember to trim the stem a lil bit.

How do you do the optional bow?
Sorry i din’t include that, you can make a simple bow, or a fancy one, just search on youtube as double layer bow or multi layer bow, which ever suits best for your bouquet.
Can i diy my bouquet 1 day before my wedding?
It totally depends on your location... Are you from tropical area?
I'm from one, and heat is the biggest problem here, last tym I had an order for wedding function at night, I made it that evening, they were white roses, till night they became like worn off... Even though I kept it in water, coz no one should touch it again and again, at the location someone might had roughly managed it, so they got dull.
Ask your florist about it.

Just try a sample in advance.. Of few flowers if you can..keep in water and see how long they will be good at your locations temperature... Ask florist how he keeps it fresh, only few florist are friendly, make sure you ask one of them.
Don't cut the flower stem, keep the length, cut it few hours ago.

I have researched a bit about this on few websites, the bleaching agents have to be used in low and specific quantity, over use can kill the flower. Even if you use it correctly, it may effect in fading the color of the flower, so please test it once.
If I will try this method, I will surely share it on my channel.
