Finally a zero video that isn't just lightning loops. I play him along with spidey and seeing how zero is pictured as "Lightning loops: The character" made me so mad because I knew he is more than just that
People usually only care about the Loops because they are really a game changer tech that turns Zero into a one hit kill monster, but yeah, he's got some other possibilities as well if you want more variaty or style!
Zero has a lot more possible expressiveness that people don't really look for or even care about. Lightning loops are a really efficient way to secure a kill if you have the execution for it, which is what fighting games are really about in a competitive sense. I personally really like the expressiveness he has in all of his potential combo routes, but lightning loops after a combo are so much more effective in the competitive scene.
Zero is obviously more than just lightning loops. He's the top tier amongst top tiers, even beating Vergil and Morrigan. He doesn't have an actual weakness aside from a weak level 3. But the guy can dash, air dash, wave dash, double jump, charge shots, rush down, delay combos, delay combo w/a clone, etc. The lightning loops are just the cherries for making him a ToD character but add an X factor then he becomes a nightmare. He can also provide good support.
@@user-pi1lb4tf2f Zero's support is subpar aside from his alpha counter and his dashes are kinda ass, which is why he has to rely on his movement specials to properly move. Also his level 3 isn't weak. It's a really high damaging non-cinematic hyper with amazing range and no post-flash start up(and very little pre-flash start up) and a sizeable amount of invuln, which makes for a great super for an assist snipe. His weakest super by far is Rekkoha. All of his combo routes that set it up also sets up Lightning Loops, which is so much more meter efficient.

Arguably, the most badass character in this entire game right next to Dante. Which makes sense because Zero is just a badass in general
