So fun fact about Jinbei is that he's a whale shark fishman; which is why he was able to summon whale sharks to aid their escape. However, Jinbei's design goes much deeper than just being a whale shark fishman. Oda loves his word puns and Jinbei is a rare triple-layer pun. Namely, the outfit he is wearing is a particular kind of yukata that is worn during the summer for lounging about the house. Because of these yukatas being known for the types of patterns they have, they are widely known as Jinbei yukatas. Lastly, Jinbei is actually a word used to describe whale sharks. So Jinbei is a jinbei fishman wearing a jinbei yukata whose name is Jinbei. Just figured you'd enjoy that pun as well as Oda's commitment to wordplay comedy.

Don't worry about the note taking thing, anyone with at least a little bit of understanding knows that it helps you take in information and retain it. You discuss a lot of things that other reactors don't even mention it and lots of times you make good use of the book to help the discussion. So keep on note taking and fuck the haters hahaha. Regarding the note taking thing, i don't think people understand that you basically watch the episode again while you're editing, so even if you do happen to miss something you'll probably watch it 10 times over while editing lol

The Luffy and Magellan sequence was animated by Naotoshi Shida, he is one of the goats of Toei Animation, he worked on Dragon Ball Z and his work on One Piece is very prominent.
It's funny you mentioned the MVP thing with Carlie and Ange, because Impel Down is the first time I thought an arc had an MVP and it's clearly Bon-chan, what an incredible moment. Jinbei and Croccy are badass and I'm glad to have them on the team. We're only a couple videos away from Marineford now!
