I found this video after starting the process. The privacy and settings never came up for me. Because I didn’t link immediately I just made a TikTok shop acct first then linked after. Now I’m trying to connect Printful but says authorization warnings, “On Hold” Order status. Meaning they won’t sync orders from TikTok. Anyone else get this? How can I fix this?
Printful isn't able to meet TikTok Shop's 3-Day Ready to Ship requirement/policy for any of their items from my experience. T-shirts take at least 5 days to be printed, their premium Eco Hoodies take over 1 week, and Tik Tok Shop will aggressively punish seller accounts for these "violations." Printful needs to address these issues up front or sellers can and will get their shops shut down.
This is happening with a lot of 'dropshipping' type models on TT shop. I'm curious, have you tried products that have faster shipping (e.g. mugs, prints or hats?) - that might be less risky?
@@Kelly-qy4yr I haven't dared to open a TikTok shop yet because of these concerns, but I have done test purchases of mugs and hats, and the mugs appear to be the only items capable of shipping out within 3 days. How has it been for you?

Please be aware that this is for business owners only!!! Not for people that just want to sell already established Tiktok products. I followed these exact instructions of this video last night, and Tiktok gave me a volation, closed down my shop less than 24hrs of opening, and is asking for business registration. Good video if you want a business profile.
At 8:00 when it says about weight based shipping I can't add the weight based shipping to my products because I haven't yet added any products because I haven't linked my Printful yet with my products on...I am hoping that won't be a problem 😬

hi! on the uk website, when you reach the “create shipping template” part, there is no shipping section is just shipping settings, from there you can’t make any changes because “your account doesn’t have the permission on this page” and it states that you should ask the owner to add permission. but surely in the owner, unless it falls under printfuls basic shipping rules

is there an option to set up delayed billing? Im running into the issue of tiktok not paying me until 14 days later so i am being charged out of pocket for each order until i get the payment from tiktok.
Usually, you can set up manual order approval, which means that you'll have to manually accept orders on your Printful Dashboard and we won't be able to charge you for fulfillment until you've accepted the order which you can do after receiving the funds for your order. However, this may not be suitable for TikTok Shop, as this will delay the order fulfillment and the order won't be fulfilled during the required time on TikTok Shop.

To my understanding TikTok shop doesn't pay out until the customer recieves their order and an 8 day period for returns has expired. If this is the case, is there anything that printiful is working on/currently providing for it's users to set up a selected pay date to charge their users for orders or to draw funds directly from the tiktok shop? I know y'all have a somewhat partnership with TikTok so there has to be some way that sellers can ethically receive payments and make profits. Thank you!
No, currently there are no such plans. We are working with TikTok to lift the 3-day shipping policy for our app, however, we can't influence how platforms handle their customers' payments.
I'm with you on this as I don't even want to go through the hassle of trying set all of this up if I'm gonna be shut down because my item won't ship on time doing Print On Demand with TikTok Shop also I Currently request fulfillment AFTER Customer payment hits my account via Shopify so I'm sure this wouldn't work right for how I handle business now

You can do that by enabling manual order approval. That way, you can wait for your customer's money first, and then approve the order once the funds are received 🙂

Wish I had seen this when I set up my shop. When I connected my tiktok shop and connected it with Printful, I thought it would happen automatically. I just received my first order but it wasn't pushed through to Printful.
@funnythingz365 still waiting for tiktok to update the shipping number on an item. The buyer received it, but tiktok still wants me to ship it. Customer service said they are on it, though. Don't bother connecting with the chat agent. All they do is want you to "trouble shoot" and clear your cookies when something with the shop doesn't work. Just submit a ticket. Takes days, but at least someone is trying to figure out a solution for you.
How do you recommend handling TikTok forcing you to accept returns for any reason? Seems like a huge issue for a lot of small business owners that could lose a lot of revenue because people changed their mind or ordered multiple sizes.
This is the same case for the Amazon Marketplace as well. I would suggest allocating a percentage of your profits for this. Typically stores that use this type of policy even on platforms like Shopify, often find greater success as it can help increase trust and overall sales. It's one of the things that makes ecommerce in general so great.

It sounds like you’ve set up TikTok Shop for the US. Is there a specific product you’re trying to add that you can’t? This might be due to a policy from TikTok Shop; currently, only products fulfilled in the US can be added to TikTok Shop US. If you’re trying to add products from Product Templates, it may be a little tricky as there’s no way to filter this. Try using the add button to see available products and create new ones from scratch.

Under "Shipping Options", you should only have options between TikTok shipping and Seller shipping. Are you seeing this option in another section?

What about selecting express shipping to your products on printify and include the cost in the product ??

Under "Shipping Options", you should have options between TikTok shipping and Seller shipping. That's where you can edit your shipping information. 🙂

There is no option to edit description for my product .it can edit title only .on my store
Hi! Currently, the product description editing option isn't available but I can suggest saving the product as a template and then re-adding it to your store with the edits to the description.

When I try to create a shipping template it tells me some states are not assigned and it won't allow me to submit a template. Any idea what that is about?

I was trying to connect printful with my TT shop but I have a Authorization warning with “On hold” order status. I don’t understand what that means. It said it will not support for any orders synced using this app. You will incur retail losses by relying on the “awaiting shipment” order status to fulfill orders.

What if something goes viral how is the seller supposed to to cover costs when does the buyers funds get released and into sellers bank account to start production? Why doesn’t printify and TikTok shop coordinate and just let the seller get profits after all funds are released and settled?
Yeah gotta figure that funding part out before hand or you’ll get banned by tiktok when everything gets canceled :/

How do I add the shipping prices for each product? It's not clear to me on the video :(. I added a t-shirt $4.69 plus the additional $2.20. at what point do i start adding the hoodies then mugs. Hi, maybe you can help me, I had my first sale from my TikTok shop and confused by the delivery fees as both printful and TikTok are charging me for delivery. My shipping template is correct as the order went straight through to Printful as expected but expecting one delivery fee not two that’s taken my profit away.

It sounds like you’ve set up TikTok Shop for the US. Is there a specific product you’re trying to add that you can’t? This might be due to a policy from TikTok Shop; currently, only products fulfilled in the US can be added to TikTok Shop US. If you’re trying to add products from Product Templates, it may be a little tricky as there’s no way to filter this. Try using the add button to see available products and create new ones from scratch.

I followed the steps for warehousing and shipment templates. Today when I go into my tiktok shop to try and buy something from my shop it says item not in my region. Have you run into this error?

The privacy and settings never came up for me. Now I’m trying to connect Printful but says authorization warnings, “On Hold” Order status. Meaning they won’t sync orders from TikTok. Anyone else get this?
