Shipping Options
It’s super important that you don’t skip the step for Shipping Options at 9:20; not setting the option "Shipped by Seller" can cause sync issues and order delays, which may result in TikTok auto-canceling orders.
3 Day Shipping Policy

Under "Shipping Options", you should only have options between TikTok shipping and Seller shipping. Are you seeing this option in another section?

I found this video after starting the process. The privacy and settings never came up for me. Because I didn’t link immediately I just made a TikTok shop acct first then linked after. Now I’m trying to connect Printful but says authorization warnings, “On Hold” Order status. Meaning they won’t sync orders from TikTok. Anyone else get this? How can I fix this?
Printful isn't able to meet TikTok Shop's 3-Day Ready to Ship requirement/policy for any of their items from my experience. T-shirts take at least 5 days to be printed, their premium Eco Hoodies take over 1 week, and Tik Tok Shop will aggressively punish seller accounts for these "violations." Printful needs to address these issues up front or sellers can and will get their shops shut down.
This is happening with a lot of 'dropshipping' type models on TT shop. I'm curious, have you tried products that have faster shipping (e.g. mugs, prints or hats?) - that might be less risky?
@@Kelly-qy4yr I haven't dared to open a TikTok shop yet because of these concerns, but I have done test purchases of mugs and hats, and the mugs appear to be the only items capable of shipping out within 3 days. How has it been for you?
@@user-bg6su7oh6e same! I have been too skittish to put the effort in only for it to be shut down but I was thinking mugs would be the safest option. I may take the plunge and try, keep you posted. It’s annoying that the link that Printful posted here to explain the workaround is no longer working!

Please be aware that this is for business owners only!!! Not for people that just want to sell already established Tiktok products. I followed these exact instructions of this video last night, and Tiktok gave me a volation, closed down my shop less than 24hrs of opening, and is asking for business registration. Good video if you want a business profile.

hi! on the uk website, when you reach the “create shipping template” part, there is no shipping section is just shipping settings, from there you can’t make any changes because “your account doesn’t have the permission on this page” and it states that you should ask the owner to add permission. but surely in the owner, unless it falls under printfuls basic shipping rules

At 8:00 when it says about weight based shipping I can't add the weight based shipping to my products because I haven't yet added any products because I haven't linked my Printful yet with my products on...I am hoping that won't be a problem 😬

@printfulcustomprinting I made a ton of products that are available in the "USA Region", but the TikTok Shop integration defaults to "US Domestic" which excludes every single product I spent so much time on. What even is the difference? And why is there no option to change it?

Than what benefits are you providing us fir connecting Printful with TikTok. All those things that you have mentioned in video can also be performed without connecting Printful.
I dont have an add warehouse button next to return warehouse.
I heard some tiktok print on demand shops were closed because tiktok don’t allow such stores. Is this true?
I think you should only start posting these videos once you get the shipping time issue sorted with TikTok.

How do you recommend handling TikTok forcing you to accept returns for any reason? Seems like a huge issue for a lot of small business owners that could lose a lot of revenue because people changed their mind or ordered multiple sizes.
This is the same case for the Amazon Marketplace as well. I would suggest allocating a percentage of your profits for this. Typically stores that use this type of policy even on platforms like Shopify, often find greater success as it can help increase trust and overall sales. It's one of the things that makes ecommerce in general so great.

For the payout methods, is there only bank transfer?
No Paypal, for example?
Funds are transferred to the bank account that you have connected to TikTok. No other options at the moment.
Question regarding shipping times: since Tiktok shop requires an item to be shipped out within 3 days and in your video, for tshirts, it clearly states that shipping is w/in 5-11 days, how is Printful able to guarantee us that you can print and ship ALL of our items within 3 days?

This is a great tutorial! I accidentally said no when asked about 3rd party subcontractors. I thought it meant like 1099 "employees " can I change this? I haven't been able to find the way to add warehouse information

How do I add the shipping prices for each product? It's not clear to me on the video :(. I added a t-shirt $4.69 plus the additional $2.20. at what point do i start adding the hoodies then mugs. Wish I had seen this when I set up my shop. When I connected my tiktok shop and connected it with Printful, I thought it would happen automatically. I just received my first order but it wasn't pushed through to Printful.
what happened i just got mines
@funnythingz365 still waiting for tiktok to update the shipping number on an item. The buyer received it, but tiktok still wants me to ship it. Customer service said they are on it, though. Don't bother connecting with the chat agent. All they do is want you to "trouble shoot" and clear your cookies when something with the shop doesn't work. Just submit a ticket. Takes days, but at least someone is trying to figure out a solution for you.

I synced printful with tik tok, set up product, billing, everything looked good. Then I went to my tik tok shop placed and order and nothing is popping up on printful? What does that process look like?

I live in the UK. Does this mean that I must only select the UK as my selling region because that's where I'm based? A couple of things come to mind. Firstly, the market will be way smaller. And the shipping charges larger, as items will be shipped from the US. Can I opt for selling in the US market FROM the UK, or do tax numbers prevent this? Thanks!
Hey! Unfortunately you have to be in the US to sell on the US market with TikTok Shop. However, don't worry about shipping fees for products shipped to the UK. If you opt for products that are fulfilled in Europe, shipping fees will be smaller than for products fulfilled in the US and shipped to the UK. 🙂

Hi, maybe you can help me, I had my first sale from my TikTok shop and confused by the delivery fees as both printful and TikTok are charging me for delivery. My shipping template is correct as the order went straight through to Printful as expected but expecting one delivery fee not two that’s taken my profit away.

What if something goes viral how is the seller supposed to to cover costs when does the buyers funds get released and into sellers bank account to start production? Why doesn’t printify and TikTok shop coordinate and just let the seller get profits after all funds are released and settled?

We usually recommend using the seller account, however, if you chose your regular TikTok account, we'd suggest contacting TikTok Shop directly to understand to check if you can transfer your account from email-based to TikTok-based. 🙂

I was trying to connect printful with my TT shop but I have a Authorization warning with “On hold” order status. I don’t understand what that means. It said it will not support for any orders synced using this app. You will incur retail losses by relying on the “awaiting shipment” order status to fulfill orders.

Why cant I add "all over print" items (shirts/hoodies) to my tik tok store in the US?
Currently, TikTok Shop allows fulfillment from within the US for the US Marketplace. Since we don’t fulfill All-Over print items in our US facilities, you won't see it as an option to add to your shop.
why am i not allow to set my shipping to free shipping when on the final page pricing page ? i did everything step by step . please help
To offer free shipping on your TikTok Shop head to Shipping templates > select Based on product quantity. Then under Shipping rules > Standard Shipping set the price to 0 and click Submit > Save.
