My Kubota BX2200 worked its butt off when I had it. Leveled ground, worked food plots, plowed snow, pulled trees out of the woods, Moved brush, carried 22A crushed limestone for the trail going up the hill. That tractor did everything I asked of it even when it was totally undersized for the job at hand. If I had had the extra money to buy the Kubota LX 40 series tractor I maybe would have bought one. But the LS was so much more tractor for so much less. And quite honestly my LS MT342HC is one heck of a great tractor.
Well, I have to admit. That is the first time I ever watched a drag show. But Hank, looks like you worked it pretty well. That really did leave everything smooth
Good size for lots of uses in smaller places/areas. My old 4 wheeler, old steel bed springs and about 70lbs of weight did that job on several yards at a friends place, his and some neighbors. Getting the lumps out and smoothed down then covering seed after planting. No idea how many tanks of gas his nephew burned doing that.
after you do this, you need one of those gopher grabbers deluxe you could pick up the loose stuff without having to leave the side x side too bad you didn't live closer I have 4 harrow sections with adjustable teeth that I got given to me for scrap I hang on to stuff like that I would let you have one
Hank, it looks like you need to lube that 3 point hitch. The rotating balls and pins appear really dry and rusty. I hope you guys are alright and the hurricane did not bother you much. Take care.
And you know what that's pretty interesting that you say that Richard because the thing of it is doing something with what you have laying around at times always seems to work better than when you spend a lot of money on something to
You mention haying and needing a larger tractor. There's a few companies I've seen that specialize in making hay equipment specifically for sub compact tractors. While I can't imagine the performance can compare to a full size set up and acreage I do think its neat the option is there.
I believe what a sub compact can do I have a 2370 kubota and it’s nick name is Mighty Mouse I’ve mowed down Sudan grass that was 8’ tall with a 4’rotary cutter behind the tractor
You know what Hank you basically came up with a recyclable thing that is like something like me and my family would do see in my family when I was growing up we would do the same thing is whatever we would have on our property we would recycle it and reuse it for something else to be able to get another job done instead of throwing it away because why throw something away if you can use it for something else
I have 4 John Deere tractors dates ranging from 1952-2023, they all have temperature gauges. TYM ought to take a page out of John Deere engineering. Pay up front and you don’ t have to do all those upgrades. But as the old saying goes “ You get what you pay for”

I Drug a lot of Fence around smoothing out fields. Good and cheap Idea Hank. Hope your week is good and storms are not in your area. 👍

Nice video Hank. There is always an inexpensive way to get things done if you need to.

I built a drag harrow on a 3 point that works even better and faster
👍
Can you run a 4-ft brush hog on that tractor
Probably here in flat Florida.
This will CHANGE how YOU think about Sub Compact Tractors!

Yep, used to drag baseball fields with a bed spring that had a railroad tie on it. Cub Cadet, the old style.
Yep done that! It works too.
