I'm a 20 year old martial arts instructor, cage fighter, free runner, and part time tournament participant...But im still a power ranger waiting for Zordon's call at heart.
God, I had this video as a child. I don't know how many times I sat there and practiced this before my mom got tired of it and put me in a Tae Kwon Do class so I would stop doing it at home, lol! Thank you Jason David Frank for being such an inspiration on my childhood.
Even though this was my favorite show as a kid I didn't get any of the cool stuff for it because it was a "boys show" as my mother would say. I didn't get any cool karate lesson either, I got piano and ballet lessons because those "are what girls should do" I may be an adult now but I'm gong to try and learn the Green Ranger Kata just because.
Omg! Haha I remember when I was little, I had the biggest crush on him . Man. I loved the power rangers with Trini, Kimberly, Billy, Zack and Jason. Childhood restored .
@homer11345 Thanks. We spent a couple of days going over the vids that were available out there and watching several of them a few times to make sure that we got the entire video before doing the final edits on it and making the audio level throughout the entire video. Glad you enjoyed it! ~Admin~
i remember when Power Rangers first started. I was 8-9 years old. I am turning 27 this year, and still a fan. i am actually thinking of taking a Martial Arts class soon. i want to get in shape, plus, it may help me on my concentration. I hope i can learn it well. It is going to be interesting, that is for sure.
This was an awesome video, from start to finish. I've watched you since the beginning. From green to white to red to black. You are the greatest, the most noble ranger there is. No matter how many years pass, I will always remember you, Jason (Tommy), as the green ranger. You are a great man and a true martial artists. Hoping to see you in "Power Rangers Megaforce" soon for the Legend War. Go! Green Ranger! Go, go!
This was the first martial arts training i ever did in my life. In my best friends living room in elementary school n still at it today with mma! theres still a trick or two i use from here
jason started at the age of 4, then at the age of 12 he got his first black belt. then at the age of 18 he owned his first karate school. that's pretty amazing if you ask me. I got my black belt later. But "first degree black belt" wasn't the black belt itself in my school it was the first grade on the black belt out of 10
The one thing I didn't understand is that they let JDF break character to teach martial arts, but they didn't let Richard Genelle (Ernie) break character. haha.
Hello JDF I met you at the Florida Supercon 2013. Since then, me and my dad have built a sculpture of the Green Ranger in honor of you. You were always my inspiration ever since I was little. I still watch Power Rangers even today. It would be an honor if you check out the sculpture me and my dad made. here is the link: Green Power Ranger Sculpture Thank you for taking your time to read this. P.S: Go Green Ranger!!
I had this video. I find it funny I ended up training in Tae Kwon Do, later in life, instead of Karate. Despite the fact I obsessed with Karate growing up, after watching this.
Awesome!! I always wanted to do Martial Arts when I was a kid, but never did it for some strange reason. I'm thinking about doing it sometime.. there's a Tai Kwon Do class in me area somewhere.
awesome, i hope this is the same sort of stuff that is covered in Mr. Frank's dvd curriculum....otherwise i'll be contacting y'all to find out where to get this as well. :) my son & i wouldn't really have the room in my office to do all this, the living room would be much better.

Go green ranger! one of the Tommy's best themes and JDF=Best ranger period
the reason why i ended up do karate and Tae Kwon Do i was a red belt in Tae Kwon Do and a black belt in Karate is because of the power rangers

this why i won my championship in karate
Love how alpha and Zordon refer to him as Tommy when JDF films this with his real name
