Hey I’m new to the game kind of, been playing for about a week so far. I like this build because I’ve been wanting to use a GS build since I started but everyone said you need serenity but this one doesn’t by the looks of it :D, question though. How does this fair against meta slaves? I see that you don’t have much damage reduction on your armor like Enchanted Ward, Ele aversion or anything like that. Do you not feel squishy? Thanks
Hey mate! Welcome! Serenity is a must if you want to play GS because it's the best one. But in this build I'm using the scorpion sting artefact. And since you can only use one weapon artefact, I have to use a different GS. This build is super strong against light targets and quick eliminations. But I would not recommend it for a new player. Playing light melee as a new Player will definitely be a challenge. I suggest you start with more points in con, then lower it as you get more comfortable. You can even start with 250 con to get used to it.
@@MasterMoussTV Thank you for the response! Yeah been grinding it out because it’s so strong. Currently track 35 and no luck yet. Yeah I always hear light armor is not beginner friendly but I’ve actually started the game on heavy and hated it haha. Changed to light rapier/spear and loved it. Never looked back since, it definitely took some getting used to but funny enough I feel more comfortable with 1vX in light armor. Until it’s a bunch of ranged players haha. 200 con is the sweet spot for me at the moment
I haven't tried PVP with a hammer yet. I'm scared to do it, it's like fully giving up all my dex. The closest I got was to do a bow hammer build. 😂but yeah, some of the best players play Wh/GA the good old way.

@@Odinataa Spear/GS is way easier to play than Spear/Rapier! You'll be fine! Enjoy the game brother!

I applied crosscut and lightning harnessing because at the time I needed it for my Boltcaster/GS build

What gem for spear if u play medium? Jasper or emeralnd, BTW u play only light?
Emerald is always good for spear, you can try onyx too or Opal. I never play medium. I like to roll too much.
