Aion Lore - Atreia, Asmodians & Elyos

- This is three videos put together, the lore of the world. Which is not shown in the game anymore. The second is how the Asmodians look at it, and the third is how the Elyos look at it.
It's obvious that both races blame eachother for the Tower's destruction. And thus the war between them is merely in the favor of the Balaur; whom want to destroy them both.
--The Asmodians before the cataclism were the ones opposing peace with the Balaur. Negotiating about it was to be done on neutral grounds. Inside the Tower of Eternity, at first the most of the lords were against it. They gave in. When inside the tower; the Balaur took the chance to do what they always wanted to do; destroying the tower.
After the Cataclism the lords who proposed the peace retreated into the darkness in shame.

Disclaimer:
All the video and sound belongs to Aion, NCSoft
They should make a movie like Blizzard did for Warcraft!
+Sven Bro If only Aion was more popular and made as much or nearly as much money as WoW.
maybe if ncsoft didn't ruin the game
i believe a bit of both sides like the asmodians story could be true but that specific elyos legion knew nothing of it along with the majority of theyre people to me it was a power struggle between a king and someone close to taking his thrown a betrayal was necessary to keep his place
I think Lord Ziko, from the asmodians, just liked to be in charge of all people, and didn't want to re-unite the people, because he sure would lose his absolute power over the asmodians, returning to be one o the Empyrean Lords. But there is also a chance that he felt betrayed when no one came to rescue them during the cataclism. But the theory that makes more sense is that this is all a misunderstanding( like, the Elyos didn't plain on invading Asmodae. In fact, they didn't even know about it's existence. And because of the appearance of the asmos, they should have think that they were balaurs, and because of the Elyos army sudden appearance in asmodae, the asmos should have thought it was an invasion, because they are a military people. Of course, it is not an full elaborate theory, but that makes sense, for me ).
kazuhira miller is an elyos?
These are all shown in-game.
Showing the asmodians first screws them somewhat in my favour, I wonder if I would be think differently if they showed elyos first
Does it ever become clear who broke the tower of eternity?
If you watch this close, it's obviously the balaur. It's that the Elyos and Asmo's blame eachother for letting them in
It was Fredgion was it not?
Fregion did . It was revealed in 5.0 . It was part of a scheme Israphel has plotted .
@@Vladisomire Actually a lot of holes, but looks like Elyos start attack asmos, the elyos says the asmo start, and asmos say elyos.. So..
But the guilty was Israphel and Archdaeva plan, who choose to attack the dragon lords instead of choose the piece.
Beritra fall being a illusion or not, Fregion do what was correct, at first he saw her ppl being attacked and betrayed, and choose to destroy everything (including the tower) to teach these fuckings daevas...
At second look, its seem in the plot that Israphel was also wanting to get Atreia, and Fregion attack the artefact (and everything)..
asmodian forever !!!
The asmodians have a much better story and I believe them much more that the elyos, there story was full of holes and bits of the story could of been tampered with by the soldiers that traveled to asomdia.
You know why? Because Elyos are such prudes that anyone who doesn't fit their narrative of beauty is erased.
Hence I play as Asmodian, practical, pragmatic, and hardworking, diplomacy goes second, survival is 1st beause what's the point of diplomacy if you're dead.
@@Quadrolithium Nah you are all just edgy emo teens, the Asmo's attacked the Elyos without any warning because they are full of hatred. Filthy beasts.
@Hiago Ferreira They having a better history doesn't mean they are the truth( in fact, both Elyos and Asmos were only one race, intentionally divided because of a plan Fregion made ). Neither the asmos, nor the elyos are the "right" side. Both people were deceived. And I don't think Elyos are nothing than "lucky" ones, because, if it was true, then the asmos or the balaur would have already taken care of them. Sorry for bad english
@Hiago Ferreira By this logic, the fact that those daeva could adapt to that harsh environment is also luck, because there was no indication that someone would survive in that environment, yet they survived. And, if the asmos could do it, elyos would certainly do as well, because, essentially, they are both the same race. But one obvious thing I should admit: Asmos are more evolved than the elyos, in terms of adaption. But the elyos are just daeva( ascended humans ), as they maintained their original form after the cataclism, and the asmos are like evolved daeva( that's why they are so proud of their strenght ).
@@1Capybara24 More like mutated instead of evolved lol
indeed...seems the story aspect was thrown by the wayside in favor of glowing cosmetic decadence. So much potential... *shrug*
