Laura in 2016 "I wish I could show you guys every little thing and tell you what it does" Laura in 2021...shows us every little thing and tells us what it does! haha love it..just watching this video for the first time !
It’s 2022 and even one year on, your comment holds true. This lady and her husband are an amazing team. So wonderful to see humble people do well and remain true to themselves.
So fun watching this in 2024...8 years later! If you only knew then what you know now 😂 Yes...I vote for a reaction highlights video on this, or on maybe one from the first few weeks in your new home, or both. I feel like you and Aaron are "no looking back" type of people, but it would be fun for us.
PLEASE DO A REACTION VIDEO! Laura mentioned so many plants she doesn't have at the new house...and I'd love to get her reaction to rewatching this tour...Aaron's reaction too would be funny about the filming differences.
I know this is an older video, but since it is closer to the size of my property (and i just adore it) , I would love to see you take this video and do a voiceover and point out all the plants and trees that you skipped over and tell us what they all are and what they do. I would be so happy to see that video :) I have watched this one and the tour of your parents garden many times over. They are both so lovely!
I was just here watching this one again. Love it, still. I just moved into a small place, with less than .5 acre. Its nice to remember what she did, so I can get ideas. Love this, Ms. Laura!
Thomas, I have never seen this video. Cause I only discovered GA last year. My yard is this size, so I have booked marked this video to redesign my garden with her thoughts. lol 😂😂😂 I am going to end up broke too😂😂😂 but we would get to enjoy it for years to come ! 💐🌿🥀🌷🌹🌺🌸
OMG Thomas, I do the same thing😂....and am broke too.🤪 But Laura’s green thumb inspiration and beautiful personality keeps me (and so many others) hanging on her every word. She’s certainly helping me become more in tune with my inner garden spirit!🦋🌻
Laura you should do a reaction video to this! 😊👏🏽 I know it's not typical to the style of your channel but it could be helpful to beginner gardeners watching your channel to see what you now think of your old garden especially since that's why your filmed that and since now your garden is different. I'd love to watch your reaction as you look back at this time. Even your channel and hosting style evolved!
While I love your new home, I have to tell you I come back and watch this video all the time. It gives me so much inspiration for my own little yard. Your work is amazing, your videos are inspiring and helpful, and your gardens are just beautiful. Thank you for sharing your passion with us!
Please know that you are a wonderful inspiration to all of your viewers! I am 75 years old and have never had a desire to garden until the pandemic occurred andthen, I began to fall in love with your succulent containers Now, that has become a passion for me, and my grandchildren, ages 10 and 8, join me with such delight! Thank you for opening a new beginning for this old lady!!! Carol Williams
I'm just finding and watching this for the first time. Laura was a Master Gardener way back then. The yard was Amazing. And just think what she has become!!!!! I started watching soon after they moved into the new (then) property. And haven't missed my morning Lesson since. Then when she, and then with Aaron sat on the curb to give us the recaps. There has not been any better TH-cam gardening programs since. Thank You Laura and Aaron, and now Paul and Bethany!!!!! 😍😍😍😍😄😄😄😄
TH-cam suggested this video to me this morning after I caught up on your most recent video. Made me so happily emotional. I’ve been watching since I was pregnant with my second son (born in fall of 2015). One of the girls on a Baby Center group I had joined recommended me to you because she knew I gardened and had worked at our local garden center with my husband. I am so blessed to have been able to watch this long and see you grow and expand. So FUN to have a look back and enjoy how beautifully you set up a normal neighborhood place and see how much you’ve applied all that experience to your estate now.
I came across this sweet garden tour today and I would've never guessed that it was your first garden had you not said it was. Your garden was spectacular. What a beautiful talent you have and such a blessing that you can do this for a living. You were born to create beautiful garden spaces. May God continue to bless you and your family in your new home, which is a dream land. :) Love watching the process. Thank you!
Hi Laura and Aaron! I just stumbled on this video. I hadn't seen what your old place looked like. It was very pretty and the new owners are so lucky to have such beautiful landscaping! The robin and blowing on the fountain..... 👏 👏 👏
This is so cute! I started watching in 2019 so seeing the change in Laura is amazing. So much more confident and self assured and Aaron has upped his game exponentially with filming. So happy you linked this or I may not have gone back to watch. Hope Benjamin has a wonderful 5th birthday 🎂! Is he going to kindergarten in the fall? 😊
Awww! This video reminds me of my childhood...my parents bought a house 🏠 on a 80' × 120" lot. It was owned by a nursery owner. 🌳🏡🌲 🌼🌸🌻🌹 The postage stamp lot had beautiful landscaping- 3 maples, 3 plums trees, 1 gorgeous crabtree, a vegetable garden tucked behind garage, blueberries lining the fence, as well as, arborvitae, Forsythia, boxwood, pine and wisteria bushes! There was a peach tree, pear and apple 🍎😍! When I saw your backyard, it was a flashback! So thankful for this childhood experience. 🍃🍂☘
I know this is old but I can hear the sadness in your voice to leave all your hard work behind. I am in a new house, my first year. As I see plants pop up, and add my own I can't help but to think of what is coming up or what needs done at my old home. So glad to see you happy with your family in the new house!
It took me forever to scroll down to your old home. You talk about your old garden so much that I needed to find it so I knew what you were referencing. It is gorgeous just like your current garden! It so crazy how much your garden and you have evolved since this time. The way you talk is different, the way you look too! Amazing how much can change in just 3 years!
Loved seeing your first garden in your old house. You’ve come a long ways Laura and Aaron. I’m watching some of your old videos. I’ve learned so much already.
Just amazing to see how far you guys have come in such a relatively short period of time! And while having 2 kids! Your hard work has paid off and I'm so glad you're getting to do what you love. ❤
Finished binge watching all of your latest videos for the past 8 months 😂 now I'm curious to see how your space evolved. I can't get enough of Garden Answer 💚
Laura and Aaron have done so many huge and amazing things in their current home but honestly as a small space gardener this was the first GA video I ever watched and it’s still the one I come back to for inspiration the most.
It's incredible how much you've honed your gardening skills since you moved to the new property. Would absolutely love to see you react to this old video
I’m watching this in April 2024 and your home here is beautiful. Peaceful and it’s amazing what you did in a smaller place than your home you have now.
I loved finding this video of your old garden. Right now it's May 2022 and you are in the middle of mass reconstruction of your new garden. I miss some of those "different rooms" you spoke of here. I'm excited to see your vision.
I am a huge @garden answer fan and have been discovering your older videos. I just found this older tour and I love it. Shows me things I can do in a smaller yard like mine. Great inspiration!
Don't worry about unfinished garden projects, ours is 20 years in the making from seeds collected on vacation , cuttings from friends and dividing overly successful plantings ;throw in a few choice have to gets and I still spend most of my life out there loving every minute of it ;Have patience those unfinished projects will finally be done. Love your enthusiasm.and your garden.
Love watching baby Laura and this baby garden!! Can you please do a reaction video to this. I would love to hear your reactions to your opinions of some of the plants you loved then and your plans for your new garden.
My wife and I just love to watch and learn so much. Your smile and enthusiasm are a compliment to such beautiful gardens. Much more enjoyable than watching movies. Inspirering to say the least. Be blessed!
Woo! I didn't realize I had seen the before till 3:25. I didn't give a thumbs up. I just did! I also always enjoy the flowers. Thank you Laura for the flash back.😃
Laura, my my have things changed, so much has happened with this world. You've keep us happy with your venture in your new home and I'm so grateful for having you as a TH-camr. Now a new chapter with all the work your doing in 2021 and beyond, especially with your gorgeous Hartley. Thank you guys so much for letting us into your lives, May God bless you all with good health.
Your very first garden was beautiful!! If I could accomplish just this much I’d be over the moon happy! You haven’t changed a bit, Laura. Just more confident in your videos. Thank you for sharing this! God bless!
What a beautiful property and so much in a smaller space. Hope the new owners appreciated all your hard work and what they acquired. Thanks for showing this and hope Benjamin has a super birthday.🥳🎂🎶
Awww. You were so young and cute! It’s amazing how your confidence has changed your persona on camera - but I love your sweetness here too. Thanks for the flash back in time. 😊
Don't know how its taken me so long to see you from early in your public life, but my how you have gained comfort in what you do since this was made. I loved watching it, and faithfully watch you now enjoying each production.
Can't wait to see your new garden but this one at your old house is amazing! You can tell how much you love making your surroundings so beautiful - You are a true gem - Barbara White
I enjoyed this video so much.. Please make more videos about what a beginner gardener can plant. I work very long hours and I want a garden but I don't want to spend my evenings watering and trimming every single plant I own.
Aug. 2021 your revisit from your current home on multiple acres planting redpoint maples, back to this home shows the passage of time in growth. The spruce at the corner of your driveway is huge now!
You are so sweet in your garden .....you LOVE them ALL!! You know soooooo much! It's so impressive! Your passion for the plants are contagious my friend!❤️😊👍 Happy Moving!! Can't wait for peaks at the new garden!!
Absolutely stunning!! I love your videos. I wish I could have a back yard like that. My goodness, the new owners must be ecstatic. Can you imagine looking at a house and walking out to that? Heavenly. You're truly inspirational.
I only found your videos with the June Garden Tour 2017. I"m going back and watching some of your earlier videos. You are a great narrator and presenter. It is evident that you grew up with these plants, your lifelong learning of plants show through in your enthusiasm about the lovely lovely plants. Keep them coming!
This was fun. I have subscribed for 2 years. Only watch your videos in the winter season (busy) educational. You could land scape and grow plants on the desert. This is you prior to having more money $ 💰 than you know what to do with. I mean that as a sincere heart felt compliment. Observing you and your families' growth personally and financially is refreshing and a blessing. Take Care. Best
First thing I noticed was Laura wearing white tennis shoes with pink laces. Your garden is beautiful. Wow if that is a “practice garden”.. I will never get to that point. Getting too old now to be bent over planting and digging in red clay. Nursing and raising children has taken up most of my adult years. But I’m ok with that..a lot of precious memories.
I actually have seen this video before. It's fun to watch knowing what fabulous adventure awaits you. Would love to see the first video that features your Mom!
Boy! You zoomed through your old garden! Aaron had a hard time keeping up! 😂 it is unbelievable how much you packed into that yard! Beautiful! Very inspiring. Glad you have slowed down. Seem much more comfortable making videos now. You seem to enjoy it more and we can too. 😉 Thanks for sharing! ❤😎✌🏻
So interesting to look back on this now. So much excitement for your new garden - little did you know then how you would magically transform that garden into the most beautiful thing in Eastern Oregon! 😊🌺
I am new glad I found this. Love seeing where my favorite people came from. In a really bad time in my life you have added so much joy go my days. Thank you.
Judging from your yard and enthusiasm you are just the type of person to save sick and injured plants :) Lovely place, whoever bought the place is a lucky person
Ohhh and a funny side note. We have strong storms that come through our area. I will bring up their channel and play a Playlist with the volume up significantly. Why would I do that??? Lol, because Laura's voice and the calm & peacefulness of their videos helps to keep our 3 dogs comforted during the storms 😄 🤣. They love Laura ❤️
Such an inspirational video, I love your garden so much. Thank you for the video. I sure hope the new owners love and appreciate all your hard work you are leaving behind.
Beautiful garden and shows what can be accomplished with a small space which is what most people have. The new owners are getting a lovely place. I hope they can continue to make it thrive. Thanks for sharing
MAZING what you have done over the years to improve your garxen space. But all in all you have moved to a new house with a much bigger yard. This sounds like you will be much happier Laura and Aaron
I love it! We are in the process of redesigning our yard so this was fabulous! And I really loved those Robin eggs as some others said. Thanks for sharing!
Bendiciones.
I know this is an old video but I just recently found your channel. I LOVE watching your videos, especially your garden tours! The way you get excited about a certain plant or describe it during a certain season seems so genuine. I can tell how much you truly love your plants, your garden and spending time working with them. I envy you!!!
Oh wow I really remember this video! I was moving at the same time and had sat down for a break and watched this. Time flies! I wonder what that garden looks like now?!!
Its so awsome to see someone with the same joy and passion for plants that i have. I try to explain and talk to my wife about them all the time but she does not get it. lol I love the garden. I hope to have my yard looking like that some day.
I just finished a 10hr shift at the garden center. Seeing your lovely garden was truly inspirational and hopefully, just the kick in the pants I need to get busy in my own yard. My edges are looking a little rough, that manure isn't going to spread itself and there's a buggy, old Sand Cherry that needs digging up. Crap. I wish I had your energy!
I love your videos! Thanks for jumping right in. Not a minute wasted. Your enthusiasm is so appealing and contagious. Although I live in zone 9, you inspire me with your garden designs.
Wow, it's interesting to watch the garden tours years later. I started watching when you already had Benjamin. Seeing your old gardens shows how you have evolved as a garden master over the years. You could take little pieces of different videos to show certain beds as they were, as they became, and as they are now. Remarkable to see landscape with very different plants.
How fun going back and watching this video I might have seen it before but I don't really remember there is times when I could tell you were sad leaving some of your plants but your new place is so incredible I don't know if you'll ever even read this but I just want y'all to know how much watching your videos has meant to me and my family They have changed my life.. In such a good way.. I can say I got up early this morning & was in my gardens all day until I could no longer walk... I can't even get the dirt out of underneath my finger nails.. anyway love this video it was really fun to see your old place And I look forward to every single video every day sometimes I get a little behind but then I get to binge watch..And I just ran into some guys at the garden center the other day that had just discovered your videos the same way I did with your 16 hydrangea it was like meeting friends because we watched your videos.. They had just recently discovered your TH-cam channel And it was so fun of course I had on my garden answer T-shirt..🥰 anyway thank you so much lots of love for you and your family 🌿🌸🌿
This is one of my favorite videos of yours!! I keep coming back to it- just to see how beautiful you made your landscape. Your ‘secret garden’ space has inspired me to do something similar with my space. Well done friend 👍🏻
Also, you can definitely see the growth and transformation in their videos. Aaron has gotten so much better in his camera work, because idk if anyone else noticed it but the camera work on this video nearly gave me wipe flash, lol. It's amazing to see how much they have grown and how far they've come on their channel.
To be your first start garden, you done a BEAUTIFUL job!!! Can't wait to see your new garden. You are so elegant talented with your skills. Yeah I want to section my backyard off into different rooms as well.
+Judy Eason Aww...thank you so much! It was good practice to see what works in my area, and it also helped me hone the kind of garden style I really want to have. So excited to start in with something new!
Amazing to see what you did in a tiny space compared to 2023. I have a townhouse (duplex) and you have outdone me by leaps and bounds. I wish I could start over
Laura, I wish I am the one who bought your house. Such a wonderful garden. I would like you to know that I admired your works. You are an amazing natural gifted gardener. You are my inspiration. I hope you will have a video of your new home. God bless you always and thank you. Good job.
I have enjoyed your videos so much and just wanted to go back and see where you moved from! You have such beautiful vision and are so fun to watch work. “Nerd” away- it’s so inspiring!!

Yea! Hoping this makes the recap on the highlights channel.
I think she needs to go through all of her videos and do that! 😂
That would be awesome!

Just went back to 2016, your are so adorable 😊. Love you pasión for 🪴
So interesting to look back on this now. So much excitement for your new garden - little did you know then how you would magically transform that garden into the most beautiful thing in Eastern Oregon! 😊🌺
Oldie but goodie... love watching even the old ones...
2022, enjoyed the garden tour of 2016 showcasing your townhouse garden!
This is inspirational. The epitome of if you take care and appreciate the small things, God will bring you the larger things
Such an inspirational video, I love your garden so much. Thank you for the video. I sure hope the new owners love and appreciate all your hard work you are leaving behind.
You have come a long way you two! ❤ Psalm 3:5-6
Beautiful garden and shows what can be accomplished with a small space which is what most people have. The new owners are getting a lovely place. I hope they can continue to make it thrive. Thanks for sharing
your energy level is amazing. as a senior, I couldn't help but think of all the maintenance and upkeep. Your just so inspiring. Thank you.
your old garden is beautiful. It is so inviting. Found you just before your baby. Love your ideas.
Here I am July 2024 and you certainly achieved a bigger garden , Even this little garden is beautiful
Wow! What a first garden. Just lovely for anyone’s garden. ❤
That is the most beautiful garden I've ever seen!
Oh I love seeing this. Priceless video. 💜🐦👍
Blows on fountain. Shrugs and laughs. 😂😂😂😂👏👍 🤤this is my FAVORITE video of yours!!!!!!!! This THIS is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!
Please go back through and tell us WHAT is in this garden!! MORE!! 😂😂👏👏I.LOVE.IT
Its so awsome to see someone with the same joy and passion for plants that i have. I try to explain and talk to my wife about them all the time but she does not get it. lol I love the garden. I hope to have my yard looking like that some day.
love to revisit your older post and see the growth and the great selections.
That is amazing. I don't know how you left it except to have the joy of creating more!
I love your videos! Thanks for jumping right in. Not a minute wasted.
Your enthusiasm is so appealing and contagious.
Although I live in zone 9, you inspire me with your garden designs.
Absolutely beautiful garden. 2016 wow!
They had just recently discovered your TH-cam channel And it was so fun of course I had on my garden answer T-shirt..🥰
anyway thank you so much lots of love for you and your family
🌿🌸🌿
This is one of my favorite videos of yours!! I keep coming back to it- just to see how beautiful you made your landscape. Your ‘secret garden’ space has inspired me to do something similar with my space. Well done friend 👍🏻
Also, you can definitely see the growth and transformation in their videos. Aaron has gotten so much better in his camera work, because idk if anyone else noticed it but the camera work on this video nearly gave me wipe flash, lol. It's amazing to see how much they have grown and how far they've come on their channel.
Absolutely gorgeous. I know how hard it is to leave a beautiful garden behind, but also now how much fun it is to start all over.
Good job.
BEAUTIFUL yard and Garden! Loved seeing the blue Robin eggs! 💙
I can watch this video over and over again. I love your garden! I'm sad to see you leave it!!
I have enjoyed your videos so much and just wanted to go back and see where you moved from! You have such beautiful vision and are so fun to watch work. “Nerd” away- it’s so inspiring!!
This is beautiful!!! I love how full and packed full of pretty that it is!!
Loved seeing this older vide because it's the exact dimensions of my home!
Your garden is so beautiful! It's fun to see the joy that each and every one of your plants brings you. Thank you for sharing!
