Hey Darla!! Thank you so much my friend!!! I am putting together my list and trying to find all my projects and journaling I have done for others! Excited to share!
Your Bible journaling looks amazing. how can you ever read the scriptures on the pages that are colored and drawn on? I love to take notes in my Bible by adding tip-ins. I curious!
Hey - this is so Beautiful - can you tell me if you’re covering scripture with the art work? If so, I guess you have another Bible to refer to or read the scripture You’ve covered? So beautiful
Hi! In these Bibles sometimes I covered Scripture as I only use them for creative journaling. I have several Bibles I use alongside all my "creative" Bibles & I do not think I will be covering Scripture anymore. I hold no judgement for anyone who does as we all have our own personal relationship with God. I just have moved into a time where I am using Interleaved Bibles or keeping my creativity off the Scripture unless I use Clear Sticker paper and can see through it. Thank You for asking by the way!
@@createanddaydream Thank you for answering. I just ordered some transparent printer paper to try to do this in some places in my bible. It’s sooooo gorgeous….thanks again
Hey Gena!!!! So good to hear from you again. I loved this video. I use kits from Illustrated faith, Open journey, and Worthy Written Words, plus a whole bunch of single printable bible journaling stuff from etsy. They are all unique and wonderful. 🙏🎨
Beautiful artwork Gena!! I love your opening with the scripture!! I will be verse mapping some of them. The others I write on an index card. Please tell me about the Bible art with the big bee.
Hi Lisa!!! I love my opening too so thank you for that! I am getting back into verse mapping myself so expect some videos on that. I enjoy annotating but I am needing a more in depth study. the Bible art with the Big Bee I am thinking is my friend Kimberlys set from His Palette. Let me see if she still has it and I will link it for you. Thanks for watching and commenting my friend! It is so appreciated!!!
Hi Debbie! Thank You so much for watching and your encouragement! I definitely have it on my list to share all I have created for the teams I have been on! I have been blessed by many amazing ladies!!
Lovely, I get scared and nervous to journal in my journal Bible thinking my art work is not good enough even though I’m the only person who will see it. ☺️. I would like to know where can I find the bee 🐝 page.
Yesss i was the same way I had a journaling Bible for a year before I started to actually wright or put anything on its pages! I definitely understand where you are coming from and your right nobody will see it and if you do mess up a little here and there it’s okay! Make it your own and have fun in Gods word. I hope this helps ❤
I have been there my friend. I was a perfectionist and really had to pray about it and remember that Jesus never expects us to be perfect. He just wants to spend time with us. 💛💛
Could you please tell me how I find shauna clingerman maybe I am not spelling correctly. Also who is the Kimberly palatte you did with birds flowers and a lady's face the one you love
Hi! Okay so Shawna Clingerman is no longer creating for Illustrated Faith & she took her sets with her. Sorry! I miss her too! Kimberly is my friend who owns His Palette and she curates artwork & releases every week when possible! She is on Instagram & Facebook under His Palette. Let me know if you need the links! 💛
I don't understand the covering up of scripture with decorations. How can the Word help you if you can't read it? This would be nice in a prayer/ bible study journal but it takes away from God's word to cover it. Your work is beautiful don't get me wrong. I'm just confused.
Hi there! When I first started journaling, covering the Word had me conflicted as well. So I made it a point to make sure some Bibles were specifically for journaling and others were for study. I now view my journaling bibles as a scrapbook to God and a legacy Bible I will give to my daughter along with the Bible I study out of to match it up. I also rarely cover up the Word anymore in my newer Bibles. I get ya. I hope that made sense.
@@kimberlymorash3250Doodling in my Illustrating Bible was the most liberating thing I have done on my journey with God. “May the delight of God be upon us. May the work of our hands be supported. May the work of our hands bring forth God. Psalm 90:17
