    Coats like climbing on things.

      Yes they do! The other two we have are not so much climbers or jumpers. They are really calm goats, it is funny to see this kind of energy 😊
      I do hope we can get Joan as calm and lovely as her mom 😂

    Hunter is adorable, goats all looking well, you can cover the gaps and get more shade using shade netting/cloth you will get that in any garden outlet or hardware. Sorry Dutch is still not well, we have an allergy dog, who I cook for, in the end we found She was allergic to all animal protein, chicken, beef, lamb, except fish and so she eats that, some dogs do better on grain free diets, we also give her digestive enzymes, he could have a pancreatic defiency, not sure if you tested for that? He would then need something like Viocase or pigs pancreas, I do hope it is just diet related ☝️😊

      He is so cute, but already growing so fast.
      The shade is not really the issue, it is more the draft and rain. We are going to keep Joan so we have three goats that need shelter from the fall/winter weathers. An A-frame is I think a nice solution, goats love to have little corners to hide. If we do want more shade in summer we are indeed going to use shade cloth, for now we think we are good.
      It is a very frustrating tour to find out what is going on. Finding the right diet is always a difficult task. The vet is kinda leaving us here. They don’t know what to do and we are really having issues with Dutch. Before he collaps he gets quite aggressive. He first had this once a month but now sometimes several times a week.
      We also think that he already had something before he came living with us. As a puppy he was throwing up a lot. He always was a little under the weather.

    Great seeing your day. How is the yurt platform going.?

    • @biondaeliza7751
      @biondaeliza7751  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks!
      The yurt platform is going well, we had a delivery for the last parts. I think we are going to give an update this week or next...
      Our yurt delivery was delayed because we thought the costs were outrageous so we found someone else and it will come in hopefully 3 weeks.

    there are different types of pain...soft tissue, bone pain, etc., which are best treated slightly differently. esp chronic pain is notorious for churning up alot of stomach acid due to physiologic stress which can kill normal gut microflora. it also irritates the whole gi tract leading to gi inflammation. allergies can do the same. best wishes

    • @biondaeliza7751
      @biondaeliza7751  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for thinking along! The vet is not really helpful anymore, they just don’t know what to do. The pain and symptoms are getting worse and he gets more and more aggressive just before he collapsed. We think he already had this before he came to us as a puppy. He was always a little under the weather and throwing up quite often, it just got worse and worse 🥺

    Enjoy your videos. On the lean to that you built for the goats, can't you put another piece of wood on the gaps. Kind of like over lapping the wood. I've seen other people do that when the pieces of wood are not straight. Just a suggestion.

      We are going to work on that in the fall. For the summer it is working ok. Now we have others things to do that is more a priority. But indeed good thinking and thanks for sharing.

    Hi Bionda and Arend. What kind of preditors do you have around the property? You might want to invest in a rifle to protect your family and livestock. BTW, I am in the hospital for complications with my abdomen and hopefully I will be going home soon.

    • @biondaeliza7751
      @biondaeliza7751  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Lola, sorry to hear you are in the hospital! Praying for a good recovery and that you feel better soon ❤️
      We have; wild boar, lynxes, foxes, mongoose and lots of small predators like snakes and scorpions.
      Since we have our dog Dutch, most of the wild animals stay out of our valley. We haven’t seen traces of wild boar on the lower land. They are still here, the other day when we were on a walk, one was very close. Dutch was already on him and chased it away. We feel safe here, even though something always can happen, but with a rifle it’s not much saver because by the time you have it loaded lots of things can happen.

    Wat ontzettend leuk die geitjes en Hunter!😍 Misschien Dutch op een rauw vlees dieet zetten? En idd zonder gluten👍 Veel succes verder ! Ik was en ben ook weer even aan het reizen. ✌💃🌞

      Ja leuk hè! Allemaal zo lief en ook echt heel gezellig. Dat is idd wat wij willen gaan doen, voor nu nog een beetje zoeken want wij hebben weinig koel ruimte. Nu zien wij helaas nog geen verbetering 🥺
      Heel veel plezier met reizen! De lente is zo’n mooie tijd! Geniet ervan.
      Groetjes van ons allen 🥰
