You're absolutely the best. After finishing all your compTIA A+ videos (and getting the cert, mind you), I started on AWS Cloud Practitioner and found myself feeling overwhelmed with all the new information and in need of a break. AZ-900 sounds similar in how much new information will be coming at me, so I decided on MS-900 which should be easy enough. When I noticed you had a video about it, I immediately decided that this will be my "break cert" before I tackle the more difficult stuff again. 🙂
@@GoGators1014 Never a good idea to tackle a test with only one source, but MS-900 is the first cert I'm tackling without using a book on the side. I've got my exam scheduled for next Tuesday, though I also decided to go for AZ-900 on the same day.
@@GoGators1014 I passed both MS-900 and AZ-900 last week. MS-900 was, very surprisingly, much more difficult than AZ-900. AZ-900 was actually very easy because it repeats a lot of the cloud computing concepts that A+ covers, it just adds an additional layer of "Azure" over it. MS-900 sounds simple because yes it is a lot of knowing what Microsoft service is used for what purpose, but it also expects you to know what additional features a service can offer. Think about Copilot, integration with other services or if the service needs to pull their data from another service, where does it take that data. AZ-900 had a lot more straight forward questions like knowing when something is IaaS, PaaS or SaaS, or knowing when something is a hybric, public or private cloud. Study resources MS-900 were MS Learn, BurningIceTech, John Savill and a lot of Googling. Study resources for AZ-900 were the same except with the official book as well. I do not recommend other practice exams besides the one on MS Learn because no practice exam can prepare you for the actual exam, even the MS Learn ones are nowhere near similar.

Thank you for making this video, it has been extremely helpful. One thing I would ask... Please, when stating the importance of the numbers and the importance of a specific number, spell it out. I spent 30 minutes rewinding trying to figure out if you were saying "30" or "50"... I still think you said both. If it's 30, just take an extra second to say "3" "0" or for fifty "5" "0". I would hate to get it wrong on the exam. Thank you again for creating this!!!

Awesome stuff! Not sure how much experience you have but in case you don't have a lot of experience yet, please be careful on your company 365 portal. Rather have someone show where what is and how what works the first time you do some things, unless of course you already have some experience with 365, then you can just ignore what I said :) Just don't want you accidentally making a booboo on your company portal haha. Rather make a Trial on 365 and go practice there where it's safe :) That's if your still new, otherwise like I said earlier, ignore what I said :)
Are you going to update this course soon? Especially since Microsoft just changed Active Director to Entra ID, they have updated the applications inside of Microsoft 365.

Thank you so much for uploading this video! I am only about halfway through but I had a quick question. You emphasize that Microsoft 365 can only be installed on 5 devices for some of the subscriptions that include the desktop apps. I was taking the practice test through Microsoft and was really throw off by an answer that ended up being that you could install it on 15 devices total! 5 PCs, 5 tablets and 5 mobiles was the explanation. Do you think the practice test is not up to date? Thank you!
Regarding the 5 devices limit, either their question is flawed or it was referring to the old Microsoft Office. The Office your able to download and install which you get with Microsoft 365 is called "Microsoft Office ProPlus" and that can only be installed on up to a maximum of 5 devices. Doesn't matter what the devices are, the limit is still 5. If the user would like to for example install Office ProPlus onto a 6th device, the user will have to go deactivate Office ProPlus first on one of the previous 5 devices. Once the ProPlus gets deactivated on a device, most of of because useless. You can only use it then to Open and View a Document and to Print Documents, other then that it will be rendered useless. Now as for the "15 device" limit you mentioned. The OLD previous Microsoft Office has that limit. That's the old Office people used to go buy in stores which only gave you Word, Excel ect. That's not the cloud version of Office. The MS-900 course does not cover the old Microsoft Office since it's completely unrelated to the course so I'd say that is a flawed question/answer on the test you were taking. In the MS-900 exam you will only be asked about "ProPlus Office" which is the version you get in the cloud with Microsoft 365 and the ProPlus version has a limit of 5 devices, that I assure you :) If you have any other questions or doubts, feel free to ask away

@@BurningIceTech Microsoft 365 now uses named user licensing which counts sign-ins instead of install devices. So you're limited to being signed into Office on 5 devices at one time.

Not sure how much experience you have but in case you don't have a lot of experience yet, please be careful on your company 365 portal. Rather have someone show where what is and how what works the first time you do some things, unless of course you already have some experience with 365, then you can just ignore what I said :)
Just don't want you accidentally making a booboo on your company portal haha. Rather make a Trial on 365 and go practice there where it's safe :) That's if your still new, otherwise like I said earlier, ignore what I said :)

Thank you so much for uploading this video! I am only about halfway through but I had a quick question. You emphasize that Microsoft 365 can only be installed on 5 devices for some of the subscriptions that include the desktop apps. I was taking the practice test through Microsoft and was really throw off by an answer that ended up being that you could install it on 15 devices total! 5 PCs, 5 tablets and 5 mobiles was the explanation. Do you think the practice test is not up to date? Thank you!
Regarding the 5 devices limit, either their question is flawed or it was referring to the old Microsoft Office.
The Office your able to download and install which you get with Microsoft 365 is called "Microsoft Office ProPlus" and that can only be installed on up to a maximum of 5 devices. Doesn't matter what the devices are, the limit is still 5.
If the user would like to for example install Office ProPlus onto a 6th device, the user will have to go deactivate Office ProPlus first on one of the previous 5 devices. Once the ProPlus gets deactivated on a device, most of of because useless. You can only use it then to Open and View a Document and to Print Documents, other then that it will be rendered useless.
Now as for the "15 device" limit you mentioned. The OLD previous Microsoft Office has that limit. That's the old Office people used to go buy in stores which only gave you Word, Excel ect. That's not the cloud version of Office.
The MS-900 course does not cover the old Microsoft Office since it's completely unrelated to the course so I'd say that is a flawed question/answer on the test you were taking.
In the MS-900 exam you will only be asked about "ProPlus Office" which is the version you get in the cloud with Microsoft 365 and the ProPlus version has a limit of 5 devices, that I assure you :)

@@BurningIceTech Microsoft 365 now uses named user licensing which counts sign-ins instead of install devices. So you're limited to being signed into Office on 5 devices at one time.
