@SynertiaNB I remember ! I owned it on VHS ! several actors came on stage and tried to perform but would always get interrupted by the guy who in the end, ould be put back, or by an hippo who laughed very loudly. Two of these actors were a chicken and an hen, playing a scene of romeo and Juliet (the scene on the balcony)
@Tozzywozzy01 Yes, exactly. I found the video by now and the chills never stops. I cant tell why theses cartoons is so much intense to watch again, but i did watch them alot when i was younger. Brings me back, its so awesome. Jack frost, humpty dumpty, hamateur night, etc. So epic
Lançamento nos EUA: primeiro de maio de 1935. Filmado em Cinecolor. Produção executiva: Pat A. Powers. Produção, direção e animação: Ub Iwerks. Co-animadores: Stephen Bosustow, Shamus Culhane e Al Eugster. Distribuição atual: Reel Media International.
does anybody remembers this kinda cartoon with come sort of theater with an audience, and some cartoon guys goes on stages but gets pulled back with some sort of hook? I THINK this is linked to a romeo and juliet cartoon, its killing me i need to find out!!
Late, but the old cartoon, I don't remember the name, but it had Donald Duck in it. Gnomeo & Juliet reuses this joke in the beginning when a little gnome begins the original intro by Shakespeare.
Do any of you other women get orgasms whenever you see Mary's and the teacher's underwear? With those short skirts? Seems to me like Mary should have said to the lamb, "Why are you staring at my underwear?"
I watched the 8mm version of this in black & white, and it does the same too, it was after the 2nd caption slide where it says "I don't like to be so cruel, sheep are not allowed in school", and that was Mary lifting her little skirt showing her underwear. I see her in underwear shown underneath during the first half of this cartoon.
@SynertiaNB Probably because today a lot of cartoons are low animated, politically correct and not at all funny. I adore the old stuff from the late 20s onwards. :D
OMG! I can't believe you have this! This is my favorite cartoon ever! It's so funny! Thanks so much!
@SynertiaNB It's called Hametuer Night. It's on my Ub Iwerks VHS tape from when I was a kid.
