FULL BUILD Modoking Batman

Hello, This is my full build of The Batman, I know, confusing, This is not Pattinson Batman but Christian Bale Batman from Modoking which I think is a new company and this is their initial release.

It is a good kit. No issues on the build.

What tool do you use to cut pieces out? Do you need to sand pieces when cut out?

I used a bandai nipper. For this specific kit I did not sand any of the pieces because it is mostly under-gated. Those that are not have very thin connection to the runner that it does not leave any numb marks.

do you have the mafex batman 3.0 to compare with the modoking, would love to see the size comparison, maybe a head swap

I think the one I have is the 2.0 Mafex Dark Knight Batman. Planning to make a comparison video. Will try to finish it before the new year.

Decided not to do the video because when I opened the 2.0 version it reminded me that this is the figure that made me decide to drop MAFEX at the time. The figure just falls apart. Then just months later they announce a 3.0 and that is when I decided that Mafex still don't know what they are doing and dropped the line. Not sure if any improvements was made on the 3.0 but to answer your question it maybe possible to headswap if you can replace the Mafex ballpeg to a longer one. This is because the Headsculpt from Modoking has a deeper connection so when I tried to put them in the Mafex it looked like he does not have a neck.

@@FigureForm45 yeah ive heard a lot of bad things about the 2.0, the arms falls off too easily. But the i have the 3.0 and it is easily my favourite mafex figure, very nice figure. I wanted to buy the modoking for the unmasked headsculpt, cause it looks quite nice, its not manipple, but its quite decent for its price

I got him from a toy convention last Christmas. So far I cannot find him to any store even online stores. The seller did tell me though that it’s official release is this january.

I got it from a Christmas event in our local mall here in Pampanga Philippines where various hobby shop stores gather. I was not expecting to find it because I still cannot find it on sale online. The store’s name is Goody Good Deals though I still cannot find it in their online store because I want a second copy of the Kit.
