In real life guys usually say they don't drink alcohol, but after a couple of months of wedding the girl finds out that he was lying.

People in the comments are sooo pressed lol. Most if not all of the aspects are the same but they're never spoken about openly, that is the whole point. Let it be about the guy's education and job or the status, the parents practically forcing the girl to marry the guy of the parent's choice and dowry, girl becoming the free maid to the guy's household and what not are some things that we all go through as Indians. It's not something that's exaggerated by a pseudo feminist. All of these things exist and occur on a daily basis but no one speaks about it out loud, it happens in a subtle way before the wedding and after the wedding it blows up.
