In my last playthrough, I had 6 super soldiers with all the bionics, cataphract armour and jump packs. I would drop them in ODST-style with a transport pod onto enemy bases. Peak rimworld. It was great!

My head cannon is that rimworld is pre golden age warhammer. The expansions further helped set up themed runs. Nothing like starting with a squad of super soldiers to purge a planet of heresy.
My favorite kind of playthrough is to have one "God Emperor" and work through the unification wars and development of the astarte. Including the early berserker tech barbarians
While on the road to make the perfect solider you might want to get a sword made out of bioferrite, the material introduced in the Anomaly DLC. A craftable legendary bioferrite longsword is only outclassed by a legendary persona monosword and it gives a boost into psychic abilities.
Bioeferrite sword do 10 less dps, being a 33% reduction in raw dps compared to persona monoswords. It also has around 50% less armor piercing, which is very relevant since sharp armor is the prime target of armor. It is an excellent weapon for sharp damage for weapons pre-persona

You forgot the bioformer from idiology. It enables even the worst pawn to heal back to prime condition, no matter what. All you need is steel, energy and a bit of glitterworld medicine (which can be traded for easily). And it even makes your pawn younger - not as good as anormaly but without the need of the dark arts :)
@ in my last colony we had a Yttakin we stripped the genes off of. I was disappointed I couldn’t de-furry him. One of the many lessons to be learned on the Rim.
Archotech expansion mods are awesome for making a full archo pawn. I like to do playthroughs of Naked Brutality (I think that’s the name of the start? Been a bit) just dropping in a single archo pawn and seeing how that goes. They can be insanely OP, but the caveat is a pawn with all that archotech is *INSANELY VALUABLE,* and thus you’re absolutely facing larger and far more *dangerous* raids quickly, and much more massive threats.
That one is pretty awesome. Add the healing factor implant and you can not only close wounds by heal them back to full by the time the battle is over and the medic hauled you to the hospital. Why have immunity genes when they don't have time to get infected?
Oddly enough, if you wanna truly minmax, you dont want either trigger-happy or careful shooter. Trigger happy prevents you from getting max accuracy, and the buff it provides is redundant if you get 2 shooting specialists, since it buffs aiming time (the reduction of which is capped at 99%, and is easily reached without it). Meanwhile careful shooter prevents you from reaching the aiming time reduction cap, gimping your dps by more than the additional hits improve it, given an already skilled soldier.

"Bad" traits can help lower pawn value.

Yeah they're worth it! They can also be surprisingly resilient since they can survive a lot with the right implants.

Chronophagy cures frail and all age related things, you can have the veteran to teenager fast (much op than biotech age reversal)

Once you have all the genes you need, you can save the xenogem and give it to as many as you want.
