this is exactly what I needed rn. I’m currently trying to recover from anorexia and the struggle is realllllll. But you are what is keeping me going. Whenever I want to give up and relapse I watch your videos and it motivates and inspires me more than you could ever know. From the bottom of my heart, thank you 💜
I love your restaurant experience, it's always important to be reminded that there are ways to enjoy the cuisines from places around the world by eating in a certain order or dipping sauces to the utensils you should use. Hope whatever was ailing you Cristianne it got better before you left Peru. Thanks for another wonderful vlog ❤️
So glad I came across your video! I'm visiting Lima, Peru next year as part of a challenge to visit one new country per month! I've also been studying Spanish on Duolingo for a little over a year now and your Spanish is amazing and so fluent! 😅
The video was very entertaining. Peru, has so much to see, and there are people of all races depending on the location. You should check Chinatown in Lima. Barranco, is a bohemian area, kind of like a hippie vibe to it. Miraflores, is not a really residential place, but is a more commercial area. And Peru, is in America, the American continent. Your video in the Amazon rainforest of Peru, was great! Best wishes! 😊
I remember in an old vlog (years ago) you used to say that you weren't so big on trying new foods while travelling but I'm seeing Peru's kind of changed that, everything looks so delicious, I love seeing it. I'm getting a real itch to go to peru.
I just love watching your travels😊you are such a inspiring young lady, always with a happy face and open to whatever you do! After a hard days work you give me energy👍👍👍Thanks a lot, keep travelling for a looooong time🌏cheers from a 57 years «young» woman in Norway who also love travelling alone🤗
Hello! I am looking at going to Latin America this June and was wondering if the protests in Peru affected you at all? I keep hearing mixed things but I would love to go back if you had no issues. Thanks for all the info you provide!
I suggest watching the news, a lot of riots/civil unrest are going on so it would be best not to chance it. Carry only a 30L backpack make sure most of the items are emergency preparedness items such as a water filter and first aid kit (use the 10 essentials for hiking as your guide). Get a map and learn to read it plus find out where your embassy is but tbh if you go and your country has earned citizens not to usually they will not come to rescue you. If you do go and you get stuck which is happening to hundreds of tourist you will take precious resources away from the citizens of Peru. Also this was filmed prior to the civil unrest so when you see trace vlogs like this remember these were usually filmed months before upload date.
Love watching your videos! Was obsessed with your south east Asia vlogs and now I’m travelling if and vlogging 😁 feels so surreal, just got to Laos from Thailand and loving every second x
Always enjoy your videos! I want to try their local seafood so much. For the packing situation, I wonder if smaller packing cubes will give you more versatility in arrangements. Sometimes if I want to use smaller packing cubes, but I only have big ones left, I fill the big ones about half way and roll the leftover fabric up. I prefer smaller ones so that I can arrange them easier in my luggage. Maybe this will help you get the best of both worlds: some organisation, and fitting things with each other
I suggested years ago rolling tightly and neatly into slim, xs and s cubes ... i never ever suggest using large or ones they call medium which are over a foot long! flat flat flat .... never bulky bags or containers!
To anyone wondering this trip was filmed months before the riots/civil unrest. Do not head to Peru you will be putting a strain on the resources that the residents need. Also hundreds of tourists are still stranded in Peru. Make a emergency plan and carry a to go backpack 30l at the most (my edc/travel/hiking/camping/emergency bag is a 20l one will be upgrading to a 22l in a few weeks). Get a map and learn to read it plus know where your countries embassy is. Pack a pair of hiking shoes/good merino wool socks and a dark colored active wear/hiking set of clothes (merino wool and moisture wicking is best). Tbh I’m getting tired of seeing people all over the world who are so unprepared for emergencies. And if you have a trip to a country check whether your country has a no-go and if you hear about civil unrest don’t even go you’re most likely to get stuck and if you intentionally go your cou will most likely not come to your rescue.
16:50 This could be an american city. Sure could be but unfortunatelly Lima is an european city, no wait it's an asian city, no it's an african city, no it's a Oceania city... 🤔
man i wish i didnt saw your vlog in phuket where you went to a ping pong show, so dissapointed that i cant watch you anymore now, i enjoyed your vlogs in peru but now i have a totally different view on you as a person
How is the political situation now from where you are as a traveler? I figured it was full on abort mission due to the blocked roads, siege of airports, protesters being shot and killed in the street, angry population, etc I ended up cancelling my flight in favor of going to Ecuador for my bicycle trip thru the Andes but I cant think of anywhere else in the world I'd want to be besides the Peruvian High Andes... thanks
You can recharge the sim card by their app or in supermarkets like: wong, plaza vea, tottus.
Also: they’re better known as SIM “chips”
"aceituna" is olive, not tuna! lol

We need a big budget breakdown for this one!!
Have you been affected by the civil unrest going on there? Will be travelling to Peru in mid February and not sure how safe it is right now.

Going next week.
The political turmoil is exactly that - political.
Lima, here I come!
Wow liked 👍
Literally never noticed the lip hair, like it's invisible on camera.
So the news says the countries in turmoil and all police state and under martial law.
This was filmed before the protests
Can you travel to Easter Island?
I don’t have plans to but that would be very cool to do one day!
Have you run into any issues with the unrest happening around Peru?
I actually left Peru around 3 weeks ago before it all kicked off
Do you miss daal 😂😂😂😂
Not yet 😂
@@BackpackingBananas 🤣😂😁 one day inshallah
