For me this was a pretty weak performance for Stevie, at least for the first half. It felt like she was too in her head worrying about hitting the choreo that she seemed phoned in with her actual vocals. Especially next to Tobias who continues to be a major contender. She got better by the end though. I…have no idea why they gave these two this song. Horrible production choice cuz it tanked both of them performance wise. Their vocals were weak, the choreo was fine I suppose. But overall I’ve not be that impressed with Stephanie. Where as Owen was becoming a contender, this is just a kind of a big blemish in his record this season. Very strong performance. Desmond has absolutely no business being in the bottom 2 when she has slayed every performance she’s had this season, and now she nailed the choreography on top of that. Zachiel has also improved a lot, but I do agree he’s the weakest Sky left vocally so I agreed with his elimination. Yeah Leah clearly struggled choreographically. But her voice is still strong, and taking all season into account I definitely wouldn’t have cut her here. That said, I’ve also been saying since the start I don’t think Sophie is the role for her so I can’t be too mad. Marcellas is definitely a strong performer, there’s just something about him that I constantly forget about him even being in the cast. I don’t know if this was Craig’s best performance. This is an emotion Bap song and he felt a little forced to me. Esme on the other hand def improved on her chemistry from last week. A good recovery for her. Stephanie and Owen's number looked like heaps of fun and did good, really getting into it. Loved the choreography.
