In this video Canadian Guitarist/producer Dean Wolfe reacts to Judegement Day by Japanese all-girl band Lovebites.
A LITTLE ABOUT ME: I'm Dean Wolfe, a mostly self-taught Canadian guitarist/composer/multi-instrumentalist/singer/producer/performer. I started out as a full time musician, on the road at age 17 for two years, then went part-time ever since, while holding day careers including chef and spiritual health care while raising a family.
As a producer I've made hundreds of my own songs for media and award winning documentaries etc. I've been in several bands including a prog/jazz fusion act nFuze, performing in International Jazz festivals and jazz clubs. I mostly abandoned the prog genre in the 90s but have returned to it now with vigour 30 years later. So much prog! My own prog band was rejected by record labels as "too progressive' in the late 80s, so i detoured into grunge, pop and alternative instead (then folk / acoustic fingerstyle guitar and ambient electronic as well). At the end of 2022 I fell into a shoegaze rabbit hole (so you will see lots featured here.)

Our Metal goddess Asami has proven herself 10 fold with her vocals and now with her prolific compositions and writing skills as well as her poetic lyrics that are just mind-blowing. then you add 4 of the greatest musician. We get sheer magic and beauty that is beyond our wildest dreams, they were already phenomenal but they came back to prove a point and that is to call them the Queens of Ressurection Metal.

Mao gets around, he plays keyboards in Light Bringer and composes music for Lovebites and Lonesome_Blue (and probably others). Lonesome_Blue is a closely related band to Lovebites, both bands have members who used to be a part of Destrose (at the same time), Asami has contributed lyrics to Lonesome_Blue, and Mao composed most of the music. Nemophila is also related to both Lovebites and Lonesome_Blue, again Destrose (but at different times) and Hazuki (Nemophila) was in Disqualia with Narumi (Lonesome_Blue). On 17 August 2021, LOVEBITES took an extended break after the departure of their leader, bassist Miho.
The remaining girls organised an audition for a new bassist from around the world and recruited a new bassist called Fami(Ba).
Fami is a five-string bassist who can dance, sing and play and has 674,000 TH-cam subscribers.
You will be amazed by new bassist Fami's slapping and fast finger picking. If you watch "Alien Alien" on her TH-cam channel, which was uploaded 4 years ago with 10,570,000 listens on her content, you will be amazed at her world-class slapping skills.

Fami had his signature headless bass WOODLINE5AC-HL Fami from the Bacchus Handmade Series when he was 19 years old.
Fami is currently 20 years old.
Fami will turn 21 on 1 June 2023.
LOVEBITES is fully recovered and the music video was released on 24 December 2022.
"JUDGEMENT DAY" is the first song from the long rest.
"JUDGEMENT DAY" proves that LOVEBITES is back in full force and justifies the adoption of Fami.
