That Scorn boss was the amalgamation of the dead scorn the Cabal experimented on. It also speaks with the voice of the dead, hence why you heard Calus and Cayde while Ace heard Sagira.
@@Bigsmoke-zg2ko It's possible solo, you just have to play tag with the boss basically, make him hide under the floor, and just jump down, do damage as he runs towards you, jump back up, run to the other side, repeat. Just be careful of the ads that'll spawn.
@@ChivalrousSnake i did it solo, its quite easy. at the boss room there are 3 places where you can drop down to the boss, at one of them there is a pipe that you can stand on so you can get an angle at the boss. then just hit him with a GL. i did it with salvagers salvo
The best part are the things you can scan that tells who the guardian was. Like when you're fighting the scorn in the hanger, before you jump out there's a ship that you can scan from the menagerie. It lets you know that the guardian at the end was a shadow for Calus.
...anyone else thought of Star wars when we entered the trash shute? Also the Dead man's tale kinda looks like a scout rifles version of a certain D1 exotic sniper?
Cept no land was a scopeless sniper where this is a scout. This gun is more like the last word as its catalyst gives faster hip fire and removes hip fire penalty.

First time because he told me that going down there was the correct path, the second time was when I flipped the switch and he said I made it safe to go down. When I tried to trick my friend into falling for it a second time he SOMEHOW SURVIVED. But he had to climb his way back up. I like this mission a lot.
Man I remember when my friend and I used to stay up til 8 am and just play d2 and watch chibi vids and now it’s not the same he had passed away 3 monthes ago and he told me to never stop watching chibi so here I am still watching this goof
from that one scene...are the guardians bad guys and the vex are good guys? it seems the vex are not part of the darkness. if we play as bad guys the whole time than bungie is holding something back
Eh I wouldn't call a race who's ultimate goal is to reshape the entire universe in there image and make themselves the one and only ultimate race in that reshaped universe "good guys" Also technically some parts of the Vex worship the darkness, sure it's a offshoot of Vex that even other Vex hate but still.
Nice to see a whole Fireteam having some difficulty running this mission. Makes me feel less guilty about spending hours running it solo, and slow, avoiding dying...😂
Shaun M yea, always gotta keep alert. Hearing would be you're greatest friend there. Luckily, I didn't die much in the hanger, only a couple times due to the combo of the Screebs and the Abominations sniping me after. 😂
I kinda wish I still liked D2, small stuff like this is interesting to me but overall the game needs more work before I would even consider coming back.

I loved this mission! It’s so fun to me! The hawk moon mission isn’t as enjoyable because i just suck but this has more puzzles and i love puzzles 🤗🤗
