  • 98% of a Red Panda's diet consists of bamboo. They are named pandas but aren't related to Giant Pandas. Giant pandas are actually bears, but the Red Panda's face, size, and fluffy tail cause them to resemble North American Raccoons more closely. Red Pandas are the only living member of their family, as all their former relatives are now extinct.
    Diet: Bamboo, fruits, acorns, blossoms, eggs, birds, and even small mammals.
    Size - Length: 51-64 cm, Weight: 3.6-7.7kg.
    Family: "Ailuridae" - Red Panda Family.
    Places They Live: Bhutan, China, India, Myanmar, and Nepal.
