As far as I know, there seemed to be no cars in Shenzhen in the 1930s. At that time, Shenzhen was still a small fishing village with a population of perhaps less than 500 people.

You do not need a auto.since the subway will take you every part of the city
You can get anywhere in Shenzhen without driving a car
