Sooo refreshing to see a couple doing this trip the way you both are. Old school hard work, done right. Love the rig and set up 😁. Look forward to following the journey. Cheers
Amazing - you actually fabricated the metal panels to make the canopy yourself. That's next level DIY - well done! And such a unique ride - not many of those on the road, let alone as a full time touring rig. My first car was a 1980's diesel hilux - I think the model just before yours. Unfortunately the well body rusted out and we had to retire it, but that engine would have kept going for ever - loved it. All the best for your big lap.
Hey guys great video looking forward to seeing more, that canopy is a work of art Liam is one talented man like to see more of the canopy and the car great stuff keep them coming 🤗🤗
It's great meeting newbies on their trips round Aus! And good video you two with a good balance of chat and music! More detail with your campsite as in how much per night did I t cost is good to know too. I'm goin to follow you two , phil
Congrats on starting your new adventure. We are planning the same but sadly still 12mths away. Looking forward to watching your trip and your channel grow.
Just finished watching and told the wife, we selling the house and living with your parents and do up the patrol to go traveling. We cant really sell the kids....so wait 20yrs it is😢. Keep the vids coming ❤ it
Congrats guys doing exactly what ive been looking for…. Currently battling the idea of camper trailer with roof top tinny or roof top tent with nice aluminium bow rider behind 😬😬 decisions decision…. look forward to following along 😊
My dad owns a 1986 extra cab which he restored back in 2007 I believe and he painted it bright green, his dream for it was to take it to cape York but it has never been past cairns. At the time of writing this it hasn’t run or seen the daylight since early October 2022 due to rust issues but I’m glad to see others are doing what they intended to do with their old hilux that they have restored. Good luck for the trip and great video.
Great work in putting this together. Friendly advice, invest in some life jackets, if you already have some onboard might pay to wear them. Especially when boating alone. Also be aware some states differ in life jackets rules and regulations in smaller water craft.. Nobody is indescribable. Take care.
That is one sweet LN65 great work, must feel really good to have it on the road! I'm doing up a '83 SwB Patrol to go traveling, just into year three of work that started out a couple months job I'm very much looking forward to seeing more of your adventres, thanks for sharing ps. If you're still in NSW you are allowed a Mullet trap, which can be made from a tupperware box with a hole in the top and bread. Yabbies (nippers) look for lots and lots of little holes.
Trips looking unreal! Hoping to do the same in around 2 years. Just curious what kind of budget did you guys leave with and how long do you plan to be gone?
I am just asking how do you get 20k views and 500 likes. The highest views today have been 2.2k. Looks like someone has been buying views and likes. Good luck on your trip. I'll keep an eye out for you. I'll check your ch out and see if your keeping it real or click bait. Safe travels 🍻
I'm guessing they somehow landed on everyone's suggested page. That's where they showed up on mine. I thought it was strange too .1500 subs and 27k views. Good luck to them. Great start! I'm looking forward to following the journey of lappers that are not advertising billboards....
You guys are so wholesome! very refreshing to see a couple without the obligatory quarter million dollar rig and not needing to get your rse out😆
Liam looks like a very capable tradie - a sheety , spray painter and mechanic. I will be watching your travels.
Love your stuff guys, great vision and just the right amount of commentary

It will all change when they get sponsorships thrown at them.. next they will have a 200 series and a full itechworld 12v system
Love the way you guys are capturing it. Not like a lot of the other travel vids!
Think I'm addicted to Lapers now but your channel looks to be a refreshing change

They love to rust 😂
@@Wildest.Stretch they do, they truly do and one piece of advice is use a gas welder as it doesn’t leave bubbles and has less chance of rusting.
WOW, wish I was there. Donation to the Crab gods! Love it 😅❤
It worked, glad we got some keepers in the end!
Great work in putting this together.

First person to ever wear a steamer surfing in Byron bay
Yeah I’m soft 🤙
How does anyone afford this in 2023 lol, good luck guys
Well with the price of rent and home loans these days, probably not much more expensive to camp full time
Definitely tougher these days but still doable on a budget and cheaper than renting at the moment 👍
@brianl351 lol what?
