Awesome work @BrunoSimon! 🎉 I have been following your ThreeJs Journey course since 2022. Firstly, it has given me a new love for 3D on Web, ThreeJs and BabylonJs. Second and more importantly, you have shown me what a teacher should be like! From your voice, it is vey clear that you are a kind person with a passion for what you are teaching. Your frequent use of "Don't Worry, it happens with me too" is powerful. :) Wanted to catch up with you on my trip to France earlier this year, but couldn't make the time. Hope to meet you one day and thank you in person! ❤
I purchased your course I while a go and I love to revisit and learn. You didactic is amazing and I am loving your devlogs! Keep doing a good work! Cheers!
Just watching this video is like doing a meditation. You are not just sharing this great portfolio but you are making an artwork of the video as well! Keep up the good work!
I know your website for quite some time now and it inspired me to get more into three.js even though I'm still a beginner. Great to see that you also got a youtube channel, I will not miss out on you devlogs. Much love from Germany 😇
Bonjour Bruno, je voulais simplement te dire merci pour ta formation THREE JS, c'est juste incroyable à quel point c'est super bien expliquer. Tu es très pédagogue dans tes vidéos, courage pour ton nouveau portfolio.
Awesome video! Feeling excited to see how pros handle complex project like this. I'm almost done with new Shader sections in Three.js journey. Looking forward to see new content (or another course) of leveraging TSL 🕹
The floor shader looks awesome. I was reading that same article earlier this week for a similar approach on a project. Looking forward to reading the repo for your updated portfolio project! 🚀
Nice vlog! Many games use spacebar as handbrake (which is more aggressive than a brake), and if you use the S/down key while going forward it brakes (then it goes in reverse, so more than a brake.. it acts as negative acceleration). If the car is going to jump I'd keep space for jumping though!
Awesome since you are updating, I'll appreciate it if you heard from this side it's weird but am on of the few people who had a headache but still loved your previous portfolio. I GOT LOST 😭more times than 1 quite honestly help the people who are not that interested in the OpenWorld and just want to hire you/find important parts of your portfolio without Driving through everything... give us smt like an F1 racing lines at the start to guide us to spots like your portfolio section your about section etc maybe give a global short-key to summon the dropdown to select where to go or just DISAPPEAR there. love your work BTW you can't satisfy everyone i know but make our lives a little easier 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Spacebar is already for jumping and I don't think I can change that. I had another key for jumping on my old portfolio and most people didn't even realised we could jump 😅
OK for a singleton, but readability could be improved by using a static getInstance method with a private (sharp) #instance field (like in ES2022+). It avoids confusion with multiple new calls. By the way, I subscribed to your channel, great content!
Only the Game is a singleton The Events class is simply instantiated inside whatever class that need it like "this.events = new Events()" And other components can access it like "this.game.time.events.on(...)"
Yeah well in far cry when your vehicle gets stuck upside down you're prompted to push it so it flips back over. Like give it a little push. Just an idea
I think the brake button should just be the opposite of the direction you are currently moving. F.ex. if holding W, then if you press S, you brake, and then reverse
There is so much to say, I might do a video about that. Desk is a plank of "hévéa", I think we say rubber tree wood in English. I added a nice bevel and used some Rubio Monocoat on it. Legs are a Flexispot E7 Plus so that I can use it as a standing desk.
I have no idea and I'm actually curious too. The WebGPU renderer and TSL are still WIP and I'm sure they'll integrate it as soon as it's officially released

Always great seeing you code my friend. Thank you for sharing your time with us 😊 ❤️ 🎉
I love to see behind the scene of your project and reasoning why this path was take ...love that ... thankyou for this.
These vlogs are both therapeutic and informative. Thanks for sharing the links and resources you use, keep up the good work 👏

I won’t miss a single devlog, keep up the great work! 🤩
I've been following your Threejs 's course and I really like this format, approach, style, pace and vibe of the video. Road to 100K subs :)
You've gained a new subscriber! 🎉 This is truly inspiring, and the video format is on point-fantastically done! 🔥🙌

I love this devlog format!!
7:40 that scratch though hahaha! Love you Bruno!
Best part is, I saw it and kept it 😅
Love the attention to detail, Great dev log!
Très cool ! La maison a l'air très sympa ! Bureau, l'atelier, perfect ! Merci pour ce Devlog ! Hate de voir la suite !
Love your video! Wish u a great progress! 🤙

Amazing work as always; I'm counting the seconds to the BlackFriday deal for Threejs-Journey, can't wait to get it 🙌
For me, the space key for the brake would be better than b. It's more natural because it's the default in many games.
Great Production. Awesome Content!! Keep Going!
just found my new favourite TH-cam channel
The floor shader looks awesome. I was reading that same article earlier this week for a similar approach on a project. Looking forward to reading the repo for your updated portfolio project! 🚀
Your videos are just as beautiful as your course work
Amazing content as always! Keep it up please!

Lovely format! Reminded me I need to go back and do some more lessons on the Journey course 😄
I love this format so much.

I like the idea of braking when trying to go backward until the car stops. I'll do some tests, thank you.
What a relaxing devlog, I like the style.
You sound like Chamber from valorant hehe
Great idea for series would be awesome for it to be consistent every few days❤❤
Few days! It took me 4 days to pull out this one 😅

WE want discount on three js journey course this DECEMBER......PLEASE POST IT IN THE COMMUNITY SECTION
Amazing!
Maybe try using the spacebar or something like that for the break.
Spacebar is already for jumping and I don't think I can change that. I had another key for jumping on my old portfolio and most people didn't even realised we could jump 😅
@@BrunoSimon Would it work to use the S key for braking when driving forward, and vice versa?
Love the series
sir u are big inspiration to me ♥
Gotta support vim bindings!
Haha,See you in the next devlog.
Love It
Merci Bruno!

I think that's a good idea. I'll try that
Great! did you use singleton Design Pattern for the Event class too or you have differente instances of Event insidie other classes?
Only the Game is a singleton
The Events class is simply instantiated inside whatever class that need it like "this.events = new Events()"
And other components can access it like "this.game.time.events.on(...)"
@ thx! 😘
Espace pour brake, shift pour drift c'est commun
love it!
Instead of R to reset the car, you can use P for push like in far cry. Then you can reserve R for something more interesting
Push?
Yeah well in far cry when your vehicle gets stuck upside down you're prompted to push it so it flips back over. Like give it a little push. Just an idea
love it

Yes, it's a good idea. I'll test that today
Sensei
Perfect timing lol
Great ❤
Love your pc setup! Can you share the specs and name? Really like the monitor and the table

my takeaway from the devlog I need to learn class based javascript
What is the usage of the screen lamp? I mean we usually avoid light reflections
Ligthing the desk. You don't see any reflection on the screen. It's a BenQ bar.
@@BrunoSimon ahhh ok thanks
Is that the next version of Rocket League?
No... it's just Bruno's new portfolio...
Use space for the brakes sir
Space is for jumping. I think it makes more sense. CTRL maybe?
Is this series a tutorial or vlog
devlog 🤷♂
is tsl implemented in react-fiber?
I have no idea and I'm actually curious too. The WebGPU renderer and TSL are still WIP and I'm sure they'll integrate it as soon as it's officially released
Break with the down cursor.
You are in haven, I invite you in my hell!
