- Robots are taking over so I decided to get ahead of the game and let an AI figure out what my next video should look like. I gave InferKit a ton of TH-cam video titles and generated over 100,000 characters a TH-cam titles and other junk, picking out my favorites from the bunch. I hope you enjoy the video.

My first thought for worst way to end a speedrun: reach the chapel, but instead of confronting bowser mario turns around and takes the Odyssey back to the starting hill in cap kingdom (where timing ends). The lore is that Mario realized during his journey that he formed a bond with cappy that peach will never live up to, so he and cappy decide to live out their days in cap kingdom together
How is that bad?

i actually like the "i speedrun mario odyssey... but i can't do it" idea from the angle of having to live instruct somebody else on how to speedrun odyssey while they're doing it, but maybe that's just me enjoying that one gdq hotfix show

Edit: Never mind, I thought you meant the low gravity challenge. The optional Moon challenge had a very cool transition
You know what would be an interesting challenge to do, MinMario, where instead of trying to spend the least amount of time playing the game, you try to spend the least amount of time outside of a capture
Or a mod that let's you switch captures at will and won't let you ever be mario
2 player mode would be really useful for this, you could switch captures without having to un-capture what you're in.
This seems kinda interesting. Timer only increases while playing as mario.

I think the AI was trying to say that the worst way to end a speedrun would be for the speedrunner to fall asleep before finishing.
Speedrun but I fall asleep for 8 hours in the middle of it
I once saw someone share a screenshot of a guy who fell asleep playing Majora’s mask. The moon was crashing and his chat was yelling at him and he was still asleep
Very unfortunate that Mario got trapped in a 2D section and was unable to use his special turn back time ability.
I saw this comment before the challenge happened and I was so confused, lol

My first thought for the worst way to end a speed run would be to beat nearly the full game and just before mario who’s controlling bowser jumps onto the pylon to just quit the game and delete the save file

the ai's depiction of what the worst way to end a speedrun didn't sound like 2d% imo. It sounded more like falling out of bounds without killing mario. More points to ya if you're able to do it and keep yourself from being able to fast travel.
Oh yeah! Isn't there an infinite falling glitch on the moon somewhere? Infinitely falling off of the moon sounds like being stuck in a dream like state to me

In New Donk City Hall, you can moon clip with the chest moon to achieve this state.
Either that, or getting softlocked in a 2d section
It sounds more like the player falls asleep during the speedrun.
Honestly the worst possible ending for a speedrun would have been a game crash, but I'm not exactly sure how you could force one at the end of a run lol
Program it so if a moonrock opens (Or whatever the game reads the stone Bowser breaks to reveal the capture to escape), it crashes your game. People have done game crashes before for mods, but those are PC mods. That's how I would do it at least

Amethyst both creating and fixing the replacement gravity mod during the stream was amazing
The best ending to a Mario speed run is to go to the church, but then install a mod that makes Mario go to mass instead of fighting bowser

I thought that the description of "the worst way to end a speedrun" was going to put mario in the cut scene when he travels between paintings. Like how he's constantly screaming and in a state of falling. The run would end when you got into the first painting.
I asked ai and it said: "In this challenge, you must complete a full Super Mario Odyssey speedrun while only being able to take damage from enemies a maximum of 3 times! This will require some serious precision and skill, so good luck!" I almost feel like that's just taken from a website
My generated challenges:
Can you touch Mario Odyssey without completely taking off the hero's jacket so we know he can walk out of the desert (the hero's jacket is the slime suit)?
Could you survive Mario Odyssey without repeating the same map?
Can Mario Odyssey do Mario Odyssey challenges from 2017?
I feel like what the AI was trying to say with the worst ending possible is after beating the whole game you wake up in Mario 64 and all of Odyssey was a dream.

At the store there were potatoes you could buy by weight and put into a bag, but there were also individual ones wrapped in plastic you could buy on their own.

I would have assumed for the worst way for a speedrun to end would be for a world record pace run to have the game crash and get a corrupted save file right before the end.
I was gonna say "unable to awaken from a dreamlike state" might be Softlock%, but if you can simply escape by reloading an old save- thus turning back time- maybe the "optimal" worst speedrun would be Corrupted Save%? But Mario can also literally fall asleep... much too think about

For the last one on the 2D% I know a worse way with a 2D section, you have to get to the final 2D section, the one where you have captured bowser, and you have to die there. The pipe is broken so there is no way to escape except to beat it, if you die there is no way to get out, so you are infinitely stuck in the 2D

I know this is delayed but here’s an interesting idea from an AI: Motion Controls only. By configuring your controls to only support motion, you make it so that you can NEVER touch the stick or buttons. Sounds tricky, but also fun
I don't know if you'll see this or think it's a good idea, but could rolling a random number generator for each kingdom to limit you to that amount of X. Like rolling a 10 then only being able to do 10 cap jumps for that kingdom then rolling again in a new kingdom. Like I said, don't know if it's a good idea, but if it is have fun with it
