I would add 2 more rugs. they don't have to be big but itll provide him friction to get around the room. That section is too small to be his on ly area he feels safe on

Hey so even tho some bunnies love covered litter boxes and some owners do as well they do have some risks. They need to be cleaned more since the smell gets mostly trapped inside. They also can get very hot and some bunnies don’t like entrances with one entrance (you also should have a hidey house with two entrances at all times aswell) and may stop going in it. Even if he goes in it now he may start to feel cornered in it. If you do want to keep using it just make sure to clean it probably daily and make sure he doesn’t stop going in it and eating hay. Although seems like your already doing most of that. Your doing really well!!

He is so cute. Since you do have room between the two walls where your desk is, I would definitely get a bigger rug. It will give him more directions to run in.

Milo is SO cute, he also looks a lot like my little man Bambi. Similar setup too, he free roams in my room and Ive got rugs and fleece for him bc its hardwood floors. Would love to see more bunny videos :)

hi meliii i just started watching ur videos 2 days ago and in this video, i can see some mistakes u did! well it's not really a mistake, but u really dont need to change milo's litter box every single day! u can reduce the odor by using wood pellets. wood pellets are really cheap but good for absorbing the odor. but u should also put some paper bedding on top of the wood pellets because the wood can be a little hard on a rabbit's feet, and rabbits like to pee and do their business on soft things! i also recommend maybe putting another hidey house in ur rabbit's space so that ur rabbit can have 2 options to hide in! i dont really recommend 1 entrance hidey houses like the one u have for your rabbit, because rabbits need to have an escape route just in case a predator comes and closes the only entrance ur rabbit has. u dont need to buy hidey houses, you could just make them with cardboard boxes, and it's also a really good chew toy for rabbits. then again, i really appreciate that youre taking such good care of the rabbit, but you should also know that rabbits that dont have fur as long as lionheads or angoras dont need to be groomed everyday during their molding season. you dont wanna over groom your rabbit, so i dont recommend you groom your rabbit everyday, AT ALL. you could groom your rabbit every 3 days, but then again since your sister has a hard time breathing because of the rabbit's fur and you actually need to groom him often, then okay. just please make sure not to over groom them

I don’t know if this helps but what I did was spend a ton of time with them talking to them letting them come to you . Laying on the floor helps as you are there size and they will climb all over you hope this helps :)

Hi! I have one more question. So we live in a RV so we drive a lot so are bunnies ok to be in the car for 6 hours at a time with a break in between. 🦋🌸⭐️🤩 do bunnies smell?
How often to you have to clean the x pen?
I know this is a late reply, but bunnies/rabbits cannot be driven around all the time as the car scares them greatly, a short trip that’s like an hour or two is fine, but if your bunny is driven around ALL the time it can cause death.

A good place to get a bunny is from a shelter. If you live in the USA you should be able to access adopt a pet and find a rabbit. I hope this helps

Umm just a tip they like being petted behind their ears and above their nose and the don't like it when you pet their sides or tail and feet and they don't like it as much but they don't like it as much but you can pet on the back

Can he not go in the rest of your room? Does he have to stay on the rug? I’ve seen plenty of bunnies that go on hardwood and it can be hard in their feet but as long as they have carpet to go back to he should be fine. Also I would get your room bunny proofed with wires and stuff because he may roam around and chew once he get comfortable on hardwood.

No hate but you don’t have to clean his litter out everyday I usually leave it without cleaning for 2-3 days then I clean it rabbits like their litter box to smell like them so it might even help with his litter box ways

heyy and tbh since i bought my bunny my mom told me it was my responsibility so there was no other option but to keep him in my room. Tell your parents you'll be responsible and clean up after it and that you'll bunny proof everything. Make sure your bunny is litter proofed so it won't make a mess. Also tell them you don't want it to be lonely because they can die of depression and loneliness. Also his litter box only smells when not properly set up. So now i make sure to put a layer of litter under his pee pad and another layer on top. I change his litter box everyday so that also helps. Hope this helped 🥰
