You are right. To become a Network Engineer, you really need preparation. From knowledge, experience, practice, mentally all must be really ready. Because in the world of work, what will be asked are problems, cases, and solutions

Finding a role that gets you into the field is a huge boon. I started out as a support technician before moving into system admin, cloud admin, and IAM engineering roles.

      Entry level roles are underestimated.

Good stuff, the CCNA will definetly dig more into the networking aspect of the field. Keep grinding! Look forward to hearing more about your journey.

What are some good entry level jobs you recommend to go for to get some good hands on experience for becoming a network engineer

IT Helpdesk, IT support, Jr. support engineer, IT technician. These roles will allow you to learn the basics such as understanding ticketing systems and how to provide customer service in the field of IT.

Did you have an online course or any recommend that can train anyone from no experience to intermediary and getting internship or entry level jobs ?

One of the programs that I shout out to providing me with a fundamental understanding of how things work in IT is a site called CBT Nuggets. They have some incredible instructors that breakdown all sorts of certification concepts in a very fun engaging way.

Thanks Jon. You have valid points.
I got my ccna last year but no experience and I am still holding my self to apply any jobs…. Any suggestions for what steps I should follow. Thanks in advance

Hi Sukhminder, congrats on acquiring your CCNA. Your credentials will help you stand out on your resume. Look to get your foot in the door through an entry level role, like an IT help desk or an IT technician role. Once you get some experience under your belt and wrap your head around the field of IT then make your pivot :)

Hey bro! So you're interested in networks but don't have any coding background? No worries, while programming skills can be helpful in networking, they're not always a must-have. Just make sure you have a good grasp of networking concepts and protocols. And hey, if you ever want to dive into coding, there are plenty of resources out there to get you started!
