I can't wait to see you play the B2 version. I've spaded the French version and while it _can_ be fun and effective, constantly getting uptiered to 6.7 white trying to unlock the HEATFS shell was pure sufffering - the stock shell and the M82 rounds being solid and all.
The M36b2 has HEATFS with 305mm of pen that doesn't diminish over range and only ricochets at angles greater than 77° and it has more explosive filler than the HE on the tank. Plus it has the same muzzle velocity as the APCBC. At 5.7. Insane.
Would love for you to play the IS-2 Model 1944! A sluggish tank with below average armor for its BR when fighting Americans and Swedes with all their magic shells!
Considering the kind of gameplay open-tops are usually forced into having, being sneaky bois, it's no wonder the team would prioritize them with both CAS and hunting them down. Same with any sneaky flanker.

The other version of the m36 in the US tree is nuts lol. Having an insanely high pen heat fs round at that br is crazy.😂 for some reason it has the dual engines, and the slightly wider tracks, which I’m guessing it’s the USMC’s version. Sounds like the angry dogs don’t like the Russian tanks😂😉
Great game. OB still not realizing they put in a "scouted" indicator bottom left on the crit-damage wheel. =) Also the m36 seems significantly slower than the m18 in all ways. But in an uptier those 90mm guns make the lineups OK.
when the game gives me the anti tank task.. kill 8 enemy with anti tank.. i got out those beasts .. both on the same line up.. and is a good clean.. 2-4 games task ..!
Its funny bc ironically this is my favorite lineup, except I use the F8F bc it is better for CAS and turns like a zero, and I have talismans for both these vehicles (I got rlly lucky with the warbond talisman chest)
M10 vs m18? For me I like the m10 more even if the m10 is uptierd to the same br as the m18. The m10 is just more lucky for some reason for me so u should do a vidio comparing them to see if its really better or not
the biggest thing is that the M10 being slower is less likely to over extend at the BR range of the M18 where everyone has become used to checking cheeky spots for hiding M18s
I hate CAS too , but I hate unbalanced sh*t even more . And the P59 is unrealistic as hell , a jet that turns like a Zero . I think 99% of all player's got caught by this jet , cause they know jet's can't dogfight prop planes . And they start to turnfight you and will get suprised a little by the performance , this is actually a war crime like the Panther M10 . 😅
P-59 is such a bullshit: turns better than Zero, huge max speed, completely broken flight model which ignores physics. This should be at least 1 BR higher.

The Italian P40 has a 270g APHE shell, if you can manage to pen the thing you're shooting. A real sleeper (if slightly awkward) tank. Would love to see you play it Odd.
I love the P.40 i think it has my best stats of all the tanks ive played. It's not great at anything but i find it has a lot of tools in its tool box, it is just good enough in every situation where in the hands of a skilled player it can do work.
@@catt0215 100mm of pen at 3.3 is actually behind the curve, it's got great angle pen but very poor post pen damage. It's great for the many open tops about but if you go down a road and a sherman/T-34 pulls out in front of you, you will be very hard pressed to one shot it. And when it fires back you're dead unless the guy is a poor shot. I keep the APHE loaded because in that case the side shots are always a one shot kill. But there's always the chance you have the wrong round loaded for your situation then you're dead. It's a veterans tank and is good in the hands of a skilled player but an equally skilled T-34/Sherman player will always beat you. That's why i say the tank can do a little of everything but not to a high degree.
After now having been in the italian tank tree… i appreciate the italian 75 a lot. And having access to the SE series is nice too. I’m learning bomb runs with that series
It's not problem to I think 5.7 after this ppl having 1 tank is stupidy rised. After 8.7 it's cancer for last 100 games (I count because I was intrested) 47 was 1/2 of team one trick ponies lots of them was premium tanks. I understand buy premium tank and premium abonament. Personal I don't buy any of this and I alway say never to buy premium for your first nation because you need learn curve. This game have hight learn curve like EVE (joke on you it's life simulator in space), good there are arcane mode if you like fast or realistic. Even simulation mode is good. The only problem with today WarTunder is probly power creap of premium, new nations or "New Powers".
Honestly, as far as I have seen, CAS is always straight getting it's ass kicked. Literally every time I get in a plane, doesn't matter if fighter or dive bomber, there's always 5 enemy fighters to my 1 plane and I get hated out of the skies immediately. From my experience planes like the Duck or similar things are functionally useless. Both in air RB and ground.
@@MALICEM12 Thats because despite what people will tell you, CAS isnt a problem. However certain CAS vehicles are due to being under-BR'd (example: KA-50/52). CAS as a whole is only a problem when it gets spammed which goes for literally everything, when something is spammed it is not fun to fight especially when it is also under-BR'd (all KV-1s). At the same time unlike other things, if CAS is spammed its a skill issue on you and/or your teams part for not retaliating.

lol the reserve Russian biplanes are so troll. I learned a trick from one of my squadron mates, if you take all 3 reserve Russian biplanes in your line up add 1x1.3 and 1x1.7 br planes you still get put in a 1.3. I usually take the I15 bis and the MiG 3-15. Its fun when i spawn the biplanes against the modern fighters they try a head on i dodge and by the time they've started to turn around, ive already done a 180 and I'm already putting some shots where the sun dont shine

That game was incredible and you are honestly too good at air combat. I have no idea how you can just casually snipe them mid air and while turning like that. The P59 may have not been a great plane historically but damn if it isn't a cool looking retro plane. It just looks like its meant for CAS with the 37 mm and wide wings giving it great control but keeping it slow. Still fast compared to a prop plane, but isn't going to wiz by like a faster jet. Able to turn on a dime and strafe well.
11:19 OddBawz just summed up the reason I insult and get mad at my teammates when they go air: instead of taking down the enemies on air or destroy AAA when they are distracted they prefer to strike heavy tanks with cannons. As a Germany main player, that pretty much gets matched against USA, my stupid teammates in their BF109 with only one 250kg prefer to get killed while trying to strike instead of taking down P47s, AM1, AD2, F2G, and so on with way more ordnance that makes more damage to our team compared to their stupid 250kg that might not end up destroying a tank.
my favorite anti-cas planes are also good for cas. I like using the K-43-III, the Chinese Ki-84 and the F2G. I also like using the F4U-7, but I don't really play France much any more. Oh and the Yak-9B is the best Yak-9 imo.
I don't think I ever met with that many planes in a single mixed battle. And these US TDs ... HELL NO! The M10 was a cheater, OP, unkillable, curse in CC4 (unless u could get close to it with infantry a used any junk grenade) and the M36 was a disappointment in MoW. So no way i even gonna give them a chance in WT!
Personally, I don't find HEATFS from the M36 that good. It just has no spall at all. Once I shot it at the front plane of a tiger 2 it passed through the whole tank and only killed the commander. I find it only useful for killing German TDs or IS series tanks. Panthers and Tigers just don't spall and the compartments are too spread out.
Honestly the M36 is probably the only vehicle in the US Tech tree that isn't overtiered at this BR. both M36's are probably imo balanced at 5.7 though the HEATFS M36 could go to 6.0 if the Panther gets upranked like it should be.
I have this tank but i seem to be cursed whenever i drive it. Ill get 1 maybe 2 shots off get 1 kill then get sniped cross map or strafed and blown up lol just unlocked the next one in line which is basically this tank but a metal slab has been placed over the gaping crew hatch so hopefully less death to strafing
The G.55 and G.56 is underrated as Anti-CAS 2 100kg bombs for a single medium tank, meaning you can stop someone from capping 2 Italian .50’s which, IMO is the best 50’s in the game Then the Italian 20mm’s that, again, IMO are the best in the game, with the best 20mm ammo in the game, the German belts Then it has pretty average performance But No one in GRB is bringing a dog fighter, they are bringing busses like the P-47 and string beans like the Tempest and MiG 3 Every once in a while, you’ll have to deal with a FW-109 or a 109 or a p-51 or spit But 75% of the time, compared to you, they are trash So generally you can outmaneuver everyone It’s great!
I don't enjoy the B2 as much as the M36. It's slower and has a terrible reverse gear (guess the regular M36 does too). Kind of the same way I prefer the M18 to the Super Hellcat (and I prefer all the M18s to the M36s). I'm not sure what it is, I just don't have as much luck with it. Maybe because it's a higher BR? I guess I'll take the lesser gun for the better mobility and lower BR. Or I'm just terrible.
Revenge bombers and Spawn shooters/campers and the worst type of sh*t people in the game man. Like,if you go to a really rat place and camp there without almost no possibility to shoot you out regularly, I am okay with "revenge" bombing,but when the dude is lame or simply looking at the other direction and you shoot them and immediately they come back and bomb you directly and attacking just only you,that is a joke. Once I had a funny case,nothing fancy,regular 1 vs 1 fight but my pt76 reload was quicker so he lost. In 30seconds he was back with a 109 and started to shoot me from the top. He got some of my internals but i could move and luckily managed to move under a lot of trees. Here comes the funny part. There were friendly CAS in the sky,we had i think 2 out of 3 flags and almost taking the 3 and the only thing the dude did was flying in loops and looking for me for like 5 minutes,no joke. While I was out of the game as well,as I needed to hide but i could still spot enemies. And after 5is minutes he gave up but it was funny to watch the replay and see that he is looping above me looking for me to revenge kill. :D
Doing Anti-CAS should be more rewarding than what it is now, it's definitely more fun. And P-59 is absolutely disgusting, just casually out turning a Japanese plane like it's nothing. Why it's at 5.3? Idk
I revenge bomb because I'm tired of losing full uptiers because my downtiered teammates sucked and their downtiered players are racking up kills. Obviously I'm gonna revenge bomb the downtiered tank destroyer camping on a hill off the edge of the map so he can snipe into our spawn. Obviously I'm gonna revenge bomb the fully downtiered KV-1E that is just sitting on the cap with half a dozen kills. I can't expect anyone on my team to be half competent or actually try to win the game, so I'm done taking the high road in this broken game.
Still sucks that the P-59A is missing ordnance, Oddbawz would probably have a blast with the HVARs. Also sucks that we cant use the Super Hellcat as a backup to the Jackson since it is way over-BR'd
Is it just me or does the Israeli P-51D fly super weird? I know my crew skill isn't exactly super high, but it's got MILES of rudder drift even when I don't touch the controls and try to fly straight and level. None of my other planes seem to do this.

A good way to play most mid tier us tanks is by flanking since many of them have mediocre armor and decent mobility

109 F-4 even until you get the 262’s. Absolute monster of a plane. I have it in every single lineup for Germany until the 262 arrives! :)

The M36B2 also has a bit more juice on its APHE round 185mm of pen which will be enough in most cases.

The M36B2 at 5.7 is crazy good. Especially since it gets HEAT-FS that just trashes anything you'll face at that tier.
It's great using HEATFS to cripple Panthers swapping to the APHE to finish them and most other targets
Personally, I don't find HEATFS from the M36 that good. It just has no spall at all. Once I shot it at the front plane of a tiger 2 it passed through the whole tank and only killed the commander. I find it only useful for killing German TDs or IS series tanks. Panthers and Tigers just don't spall and the compartments are too spread out.

Honestly the M36 is probably the only vehicle in the US Tech tree that isn't overtiered at this BR. both M36's are probably imo balanced at 5.7 though the HEATFS M36 could go to 6.0 if the Panther gets upranked like it should be.

I have this tank but i seem to be cursed whenever i drive it. Ill get 1 maybe 2 shots off get 1 kill then get sniped cross map or strafed and blown up lol just unlocked the next one in line which is basically this tank but a metal slab has been placed over the gaping crew hatch so hopefully less death to strafing

The G.55 and G.56 is underrated as Anti-CAS
2 100kg bombs for a single medium tank, meaning you can stop someone from capping
2 Italian .50’s which, IMO is the best 50’s in the game
Then the Italian 20mm’s that, again, IMO are the best in the game, with the best 20mm ammo in the game, the German belts
Then it has pretty average performance
But
No one in GRB is bringing a dog fighter, they are bringing busses like the P-47 and string beans like the Tempest and MiG 3
Every once in a while, you’ll have to deal with a FW-109 or a 109 or a p-51 or spit
But 75% of the time, compared to you, they are trash
So generally you can outmaneuver everyone

I don't enjoy the B2 as much as the M36. It's slower and has a terrible reverse gear (guess the regular M36 does too). Kind of the same way I prefer the M18 to the Super Hellcat (and I prefer all the M18s to the M36s). I'm not sure what it is, I just don't have as much luck with it. Maybe because it's a higher BR? I guess I'll take the lesser gun for the better mobility and lower BR. Or I'm just terrible.
Revenge bombers and Spawn shooters/campers and the worst type of sh*t people in the game man. Like,if you go to a really rat place and camp there without almost no possibility to shoot you out regularly, I am okay with "revenge" bombing,but when the dude is lame or simply looking at the other direction and you shoot them and immediately they come back and bomb you directly and attacking just only you,that is a joke. Once I had a funny case,nothing fancy,regular 1 vs 1 fight but my pt76 reload was quicker so he lost. In 30seconds he was back with a 109 and started to shoot me from the top. He got some of my internals but i could move and luckily managed to move under a lot of trees. Here comes the funny part. There were friendly CAS in the sky,we had i think 2 out of 3 flags and almost taking the 3 and the only thing the dude did was flying in loops and looking for me for like 5 minutes,no joke. While I was out of the game as well,as I needed to hide but i could still spot enemies. And after 5is minutes he gave up but it was funny to watch the replay and see that he is looping above me looking for me to revenge kill. :D
Doing Anti-CAS should be more rewarding than what it is now, it's definitely more fun.
And P-59 is absolutely disgusting, just casually out turning a Japanese plane like it's nothing. Why it's at 5.3? Idk
I revenge bomb because I'm tired of losing full uptiers because my downtiered teammates sucked and their downtiered players are racking up kills. Obviously I'm gonna revenge bomb the downtiered tank destroyer camping on a hill off the edge of the map so he can snipe into our spawn. Obviously I'm gonna revenge bomb the fully downtiered KV-1E that is just sitting on the cap with half a dozen kills. I can't expect anyone on my team to be half competent or actually try to win the game, so I'm done taking the high road in this broken game.
Still sucks that the P-59A is missing ordnance, Oddbawz would probably have a blast with the HVARs. Also sucks that we cant use the Super Hellcat as a backup to the Jackson since it is way over-BR'd
Is it just me or does the Israeli P-51D fly super weird? I know my crew skill isn't exactly super high, but it's got MILES of rudder drift even when I don't touch the controls and try to fly straight and level. None of my other planes seem to do this.
