So you're in on the scam too? Crazy how my university co-op let this company try to employee me. They are still scamming to this day do NOT believe this video!
yes and anyone watching this should know that these playlist promoters on spotify get you in a playlist full of bots and u will get shadow banned from spotify, not to mention the number of streams you get is not worth the money spent
As I said in the video, they used to be a company that pitched to curators on a roster. That had a sketchy honour system to it, where they relied on the curators to keep active playlists to get paid. Ronen (CEO) told me in an hour call before running these, they completely scrapped that business model because some people started botting their playlists without their knowledge, lots became dead, etc. So now, they spend upwards of $4k/day on FB to promote playlists and artists. I vetted these playlists before hand as well. I'm not worried in the slightest.
I once hired one of thoses company’s and did one campaign. I had like 54 add playlists from real people. Do you think that’s a thing to know if they are legit or nah?
No, watch other videos I have about vetting playlists to find legit ones. These pass the test, and as I said in the video, the daily investments for Facebook ad campaigns are very high. If you've used FB ads before, you know they're very lucrative.
@@MMXVII I'm running an ad campaign for 2 years on a playlist but with all the changes they've implemented it's not worth it anymore for me, especially the notification 'do you really want to leave this app' after they clicked on the landingpage is messing it up
Can you give more insight on the audience? I want to know what locations are shown most (like mostly Brazil listeners etc) and if there was a major effect for people listening through their own playlists/directly versus just the playlist you were put on. I'm glad to know that Boost collective isn't doing sketchy practices anymore (based on what you said) but I am still a little worried about the whole "spending $4k a day" etc. I know the number might just be something you threw out there but I doubt with them spending even $500 a day, that this could be a profitable business for them. So wondering if maybe they might of altered the truth a little or have something else that we don't know about. On top of that, another major worry is algorithmic pushes after, playlisting has historically always been horrible for algorithm for the most part since you are put into a moshpit of other listeners who all like different types of music and spotify might not actually be able to tell what you want. Like you said with "I need a light", you were put onto a lot of rap playlists and that could be a part of why you didn't get much of a discovery weekly boost from it even though it brought more streams/listeners.
Both songs are almost all listeners were from the US. For "i need a light" specifically, I have 6,501 listeners in the US, followed by Italy at 995 and Philippines at 925. Top 3 US cities being Dallas, Houston, & Orlando. It's hard to say exactly what the listener split is from only the playlists since it's just stats on the whole song and not from specific sources. The $4k/day is a rough estimate he threw out during our call. This includes more than just promoting playlists, this also includes driving sales, promoting their artists, etc. Feel free to reach out to Ronen or Jabari if you need any direct clarity. Above all, you should NEVER just use playlisting. This helps inflate the streams of a song and should be used sparingly, not as primary promotion. Putting this into playlists that actually fit the mood or genre (the more specific the genre the better) in the first month of your release can help associate your song positively and if they have some playlists that seem to fit your genre, you could find some real benefits in your budget with it.
This is a total scam, please do not waste your money. Got added to playlists that have literally nothing to do with your music, they won't even listen to your track. You try and get hold of them and they don't take into account your request. DONT BUY HONESTLY.
Has any of your music gotten deleted in the past year? Plz respond

Could this be related to the Spotify warning you posted about a few days ago? Curious to know how that's going!
They had nothing to do with the songs that were flagged at all.
Thanks for the info I was thinking about trying them out. Still on the fence. Hope all is well and keep up the great work!!!

I'd be a bit worried about botting here based on Boost's reputation...

Maybe users are adding you to playlists at the same time this company is. Thats why the numbers don’t match?
I'm a artist looking to promo my music to push the algorithm. Thank you for the insight, i've been hearing about boost collective for a couple months.
But they don't return the money in case your tracks don't do well no?
You won't be able to get hold of them to even ask to cancel
Absolutely shameless that you would promote this indisputable scam. How much did you sell your soul for? Way to look out for your audience…
Whats the cost
