No talking, just walking. Exploring the English Countryside. A nice gentle walk around the Village of Monyash. A quaint old village right in the middle of the Countryside, farms and rolling hills all around. At 2011, it had a population of 314, and people have been living around this area since about 3750 BC in the Neolithic times. A lovely village, A lovely walk. Do enjoy :)

    About Dave's Walks
Hi there, I‘m Dave! I've lived in the English Countryside all my life, and I love it! I enjoy walking, and couldn’t help but notice just how beautiful the UK can be away from the cities. I found myself inspired and decided to get some camera equipment and make some walking videos so I can share my walks of the beautiful countryside with everyone!
I will mainly focus on small towns, villages, picturesque landscapes, rolling hills and mountains, forests and canals, all along the coastlines in England, Scotland, Wales, and who knows maybe one day further afar!
    I upload every Sunday 11.45am GMT (3.45am PST) (6.45am EST) (5.15pm IST) (9.15pm ACST)

I use the free version of Davinci Resolve 16 to do some really basic editing. Mainly making sure the sky isn't over exposed. It's from Camera straight to TH-cam. No cuts, no fancy business, no talking, just walking.

What a Lovely walk. I love old English villages. I looked around on youtube for a long time for a video to watch and found just a few with bad qualities. I'm so glad I found your channel. Your videos are the best. Thank you so much, Dave!!

Everyone is locked inside on their computers, arguing on Twitter. You have the right idea. Walk around outside and enjoy the fresh air. Thanks for sharing

I couldn't think of anything worse to do with my time than to sit on a computer arguing with people on social media! I can't fathom how it appeals to people..

So happy I found your Channel, this video brought tears to my eyes. I’ve been a keen rambler most of my life until the last 6 years when poor health and mobility put an end to it. Watching this video feels like I’m out there in the open with you. Subscribed!

Bakewell is on the 'todo' list for sure, quite a bigger town so want to properly plan out a route to film, maybe a while yet before I get a Bakewell video up.

When thinking of the UK Peak District, most of the programs and articles I see relate to the mountains, lakes and countryside. These quiet, stony villages don't get the attention they deserve. Thanks to your efforts, I am now better informed. Your videos just keep getting better.

I agree, a lot of these old villages do mostly get missed out in the media, I very much enjoy visiting these old villages! They often have so much character and history! Glad to be able to share it! 😊

A calming walk in a beautiful place during a perfect weather. The architecture of the houses in this village is just amazing. And what about that mini library booth. First time to see such. Thanks for this!

Is a lovely quaint village, quite common now that telephone boxes are all getting repurposed in some manor similar to this which I think is a great thing.

There's something uniquely disturbing about the abandoned villages of Derbyshire. In my youth you would never have walked far before you encountered either a tripper or a local character. We truly have seen the end of the British way of life.
