Appreciate you sharing your thoughts on the pad in Zadar. Don’t be surprised if somebody builds on that lot in front of you and blocks your Seaview altogether. PS, I guessed $175k. Cheers!
Excellent video. I can't stand drywall walls between rooms here in USA. It annoys the heck out of me. We finally took all of them down and built actual block walls. Americans thought we were insane. LOL
I’m thinking of moving to either Greece, Italy, France, Spain or Croatia; and my only issue with Croatia is that it does not have a lot or any wide sandy beaches! Your thoughts?
One of the sand beaches in Croatia what I know about is located at what is called "usće of the lake Neretva". Where the lake of Neretva ends in the adriatic sea. It is a popular kitesurfing place. The closest place where there is real estate is a small village by the sea called Blace. Approximately 700 meters from that huge sandy beach. If you wish you can check it out online.
So about $300k CAD? Seems like quite a steal to us Canadians for such a beautiful unit, however I’m sure local incomes in Zadar makes this quite expensive to the average worker
It looks like a 1 bedroom unit and what is the square meters of the unit ...what year was this bought? Also I noticed your car(Tesla) has Zagreb plates , meaning you probably own something in Zagreb.👍...We bought also down in Makarska and for what we paid 12 years ago and what we got you would pay 3 to 4 times the amount for that quality and size of an apartment here in Vancouver...anyway Canadians and Americans ( Croatian heritage) you can't go wrong investing in real estate in Croatia.
Marko, As a Canadian of Croatian heritage, I am considering buying an apartment on the coast as I approach retirement age. Your videos have been informative. How do maintenance/HOA fees work in Croatia? I pay a fortune every month for a small condo in Toronto. I wonder if there's a standard in Croatia. Thanks!
No standard, but much cheaper. In Zagreb I pay 50 euros per month in strata fees and in Zadar I pay 42 euros per month. Keep in mind all units here are individually metered for everything including water.
Solid appartment the price is not bad. I was looking in Croatia for a property but it's way overpriced and very hard to resell and the Roi is pretty bad. So I invested in Dubai Jvc 12% is my Roi as my friend bough a place in Split the Roi is terrible! You got a pretty good deal in my opinion Croatia is a nice place.

Exactly, very expensive for locals earning 1,000 to 2,000 euros per month.
it's not even 1000 e per month for lot of people

Preplatia si tu mišju rupu za jedno dobrih 40k.
Ahhhh, koliko u Project Marina Zadar kostaju, tamo je jos skuplje, vrijedili li to te novce? A di kupiti najbolje u Zadru, a da pogled na more
Preplatio je duplo.
very helpful, thank you - what website did you use for this?
When did you buy? 2023 or earlier?
Lijep stancic
What do you mean by concrete wall even between flats. What else could it be? Stiropor! 😅 Pa nismo u nekoj africhkoj zabiti.
Google "steel stud between units" to ti je standard u Americi/Kanadi. Kvalitetna gradnja u Hr je zapravo dosta dobra na nekoj globalnoj razini.
Knauf? Siporex?
@@matepauletic3675 ma ne znam koristimo li mi to u gradnji. Mozda preko Bare?
@@sanjazuljevic8046mi u Puli to ne koristimo 😂
Tesla Y Best 👋😀
Za te novce stan je OK. U Puli bi isto to platio duplo.
That's a pretty good deal...
How many sq feet or m2?
46 m2 interior + 16 m2 balcony
Borik, Lijepi Borik, tamo sam se kupao u moru dok sam sluzio u JNA u Zadru.😊
