Airstream vents have some annoying design flaws. Not only are they notorious for falling out from the ceiling and dropping to the floor, at best they only allow 50% of the available airflow. Enter Upstream Outfitters with their ingenious design that allows 100% airflow AND a full dampening option that allows you to dial in the exact amount of airflow needed for greater AC efficiency.

It is a little nerve wracking, for sure! The end result is sooo worth it.
We upgraded all of ours in our Tradewind and it’s a remarkable difference! For those with 1 AC like us, I highly recommend using an on the ground fan to move air from the back to front of cabin so you’re maximizing air flow and helping your AC cover more ground. Love that it still looks original. And the customer service from the manufacturer @UpstreamOutfitters is phenomenal! 🎉

Looks like a decent solution. We are just sooooo glad that we do not have the ducted air system. Yet another thing that Airstream fixed that wasn't broken. Okay, rant over. Now we need to go and check out Towing and Going Topless!

Thanks for sharing guys. Looks like the best option out there so far. Not cheap to replace each vent. But maybe worth it if you frequent some 90+ temp cities.

We installed these in our main living area of our Trade Wind. They are ok and certainly are an uplgrade from the standard one AS installs. But with one AC, they still don't do the trick in the main area. We are going to move these into our bedroom and install the AirKrafter erPods instead. As mentioned, the erPods do change the look and do hang down from the ceiling. Neither are in issue for us.
