- Checkout this sweet Ford Blue Oval Is that I made on the Trucutcnc.com 4x8 CNC Plasma table. This one is made from 3/8 6061 aluminum, it uses blue LED side glow LED's and soem really cool billet bolts. This could be used as Man Cave Wall art, Race Shop Art, Restaurant, Bar, etc. Incredible Mancave Man Cave Idea video

I charged $700 for this one. The small piece of thick aluminum sheet was almost $200 of it by itself. LED's, billet fastners, it adds up. I could do one the same size without the LED's and fasteners on some thinner aluminum for $450ish. It would be nice, but not near as cool as this thing

Gary, I do metal fab as well. Excellent work but IMO you did not charge enough for the time, skill and equipment required.

Looks awesome bro, very very awesome. Always loved the Ford logo, and that blue, along with the aluminum it looks awesome. One step further, could've brushed or polished the aluminum too, but it kicks ass the way it is too man!
Thanks Johnny, and yea I spent about 2 hours brushing the aluminum and removing the deep scratches, sux that it doesn't look that way on video, it looks good in person

Oh thats odd, i have watched it on 2 different browsers and they are correct... some phones can have issues with them though, what were you watching it on?
Firefox on a desktop. That being said when I came back to reply they show up now instead of just being blinky green screens. Must have been an issue with loading or maybe you tube even.

Super Nice! What was the die grinder/scotchbrite pad doodle for? Fun? or did it help you see paint thickness or something?
My intention was to use Candy paint, and those swirls show up under the candy paint and refract the light/pearls from the LED's but the color of blue didnt look right to me so off camera I painted it with the pearl blue color from the dodge viper.
How much did you charge for that pc ?

Its just a 12VDC battery pack that takes 8 AA's

They were purchased from a site that sells Annodized aluminum fastners and accessories for high end bicycles, dont remember the site name but you can prob google and find it... this was 3 years ago
Why did you choose a water table over open/draft one?
there are pro's and con's to each. Downdraft, alot less messy, but more smoke, especially with partial sheets, and alot of ducting to run depending on how close to an outside wall you have, you also get less dross, but the parts are hot, more smoke, and you can get alot more warping on thinner materials.. With water table, there is almost no smoke, even if you have partial sheets, and parts are cool to the touch immediately and never any warping. for me it was the smoke elimination that sold me on it because i have an insulated and air-conditioned shop. If you keep your shop doors open when working, the downdraft might work for you. But understand that when you have a partial sheet, the downdraft looses its effectiveness because has nothing to have suction against with the table being wide open

not really, I don't advertise and these are made to order, and not available for purchase anywhere. My thought is someone from ford will see this and hire me to make one for them! lol
The truth of the matter is, these large companies LOVE fanboys. People who willingly buy/display their logos without any branding/advertising compensation. To date, BMW is the only company that has gone after people using their logo in an unlicensed manner. And even that was abused for profit and to mislead the public that something was made by BMW when it wasn't.
Which brings me to my next point. The only way Gary could get himself into hot water is if tried to represent his wares as official "X-Brand" merchandise. Or if he was pretending to be selling OEM parts, or if he decided to go into the car manufacturing business, and call them Phords.
Eco Mouse well said. Not that it can't happen but one off custom work will likely be aprreciated by those entities. Gary could be right-he might just get someones attention at Ford that would request one.
