Great review, your understanding of how the hammer drill works makes me trust what you have to say. I've been spoiled with a Hilti TE-50 but have struck out on my own and will probably be starting out with a Bulldog 11224VSR
Bud I've got 6 of these hammer drills for my Electrical company and have ragged them for years. Best all around small hammer drill around !!! Great video
My 11224vsr appears different than the one you showcased in at least 3 ways that I can tell, maybe more. The first and most trivial difference I've spotted is the side badging sticker, followed by the depth stop clamp, in which mine, I assume, is an older thumb screw design and finally the one that I am really curious about is the location of the variable speed adjustment. On my 11224VSR the variable speed adjustment is a wheel located on the trigger that can be turned in one direction to increase the RPM and decreased via the opposite. Given the first two letters in the acronym following the model # are very much present on your machine, I have to assume the capability is as well, but where at is what my curiosity has me inquiring towards.
I have a bulldog from 30 years ago. Probably the very first model? It’s the 11210VSR it’s a beast and still works to this day although the lever for the hammer only selection is broke so it only does rotary hammer for now. I have to see if I can fix it. Other than that works great
Tengo un taladro similar a ese de fabricación alemana y es la máximo en rendimiento. Soy electricista y plomero y siempre que utilizo mi taldro buldot siempre resuelvo.

It’s also a serviceable tool. I just now bought a fully reconditioned one from my local tool house/store.
I love the bulldog - consistently works well

After a hard day of drilling rock it started leaking oil/grease out of the front. I have seen video of replacing the front seal.
Great video thanks for making it
love bosch, i have the 18v brushless bulldog and the new grinders, all made in Germany
Are the makita’s rotary hammers any good?
They're not bad they just don't have the reputation like Bosch
Catus Maximus ......agree
