I started writing daily in a gratitude journal May 1st, 1998. It was Oprah's suggestion to write down 5 things each day for which we're grateful which started my journey. Ahhh I love bookish goals! This was so lovely to listen to💖 Some of my goals this year include reading more translated works and reading (at least) one duology and one trilogy…I’m not really a series girly but I did read the Empire of the Wolf trilogy by Richard Swan this year and really enjoyed the experience plus those books were all 4.5/5⭐️ for me! I found your channel this year and can’t wait to come along for the 2025 ride. Thanks for everything Syd xx

I just got into reading as an adult this year and set a small goal of reading 10 books to get back into the groove of things and I’m about to pass 100 books before the year ends! I agree, I think it’s nice to set a goal for yourself that is realistic (75 versus 100 every year), but it’s also super nice to cross your goal early on in the year, haha. I hope to keep a similar flow going into 2025. :)
Great Video Sydney and Happy New Year to You and Caleb Have a Wonderful Reading Year In 2025 Love Your Reading and Goals Journals 📖🥰🥰 As For Me I’ve read quite a few books 📚 this year as well and I absolutely loved exactly what you do read physically while listening to the audiobook it’s so much fun to hear the story come alive with the great narrators & that’s basically how I’ve been getting through so many of the books on my TBR List This Year Which My Favorite Books This Year Have Been A River Enchanted & It’s Sequel A Fire Endless which I both gave 5 stars too they were really great 😊 & Now I’m currently on the third book in a 8 book series by Laura Burton and Jessie Cal and the series is called Fairytales Reimagined Series and I’m loving it so far 📚🥰🥰 The books are all paperback and the covers are gorgeous and they’re fairly easy to get through and throughly I enjoy my time getting lost in them So I Highly Recommend You Check Them Out Sydney I Really Think You Would Like Them since you like fantasy books 📚 I’ll post a pic of the series in the discord so you can see what they look like for yourself Take Care & Happy Reading 📖😊
I read a lot as a child but with school getting busy I didn't have as much time anymore. This year, I restarted reading actively and sadly didn't have as time as I had wished for. I read 43 (+ 2 more if I finish them before the year ends) this year. Hopefully next year I can have more time but I had a really good reading year regarding the ratings/enjoyment, so I am not mad
I have a lot of cookbooks and recipes saved. I plan on writing out the names of cookbooks and writing certain recipes and try and draw once a week. If I get a cookbook I need to find a recipe from the book to cook! I got rid of internet and streaming this year. I only watch TH-cam a bit here and there.

To do the reading challenge and participate in the greenhouse as much as I can. I have so many goals I'd like to do, but I don't want to overwhelm myself either 😅

I set reading as a priority 2024, and while I managed to read 74 books, I barely painted. So my goal for 2025 is to find a better balance between reading and painting instead of one or the other. I also need time to play the sims lol

I passed my goal and hit it. I just hit 27 books last night and im so proud of myself. Goal was 18 and Im still going Im so happy with my goal.
One of my goals is to read more diversely- I'm aiming for at least 50% BIPOC authors.
I read 251 books this year - in my opinion, too many! I want to be more intentional with QUALITY over QUANTITY.
