Yeah both Nolan and Mark are going through opposite character changes : Mark is starting to become more like Nolan and Nolan is starting to change and becoming like Mark
Cool thought but Mark is not becoming Nolan, more of the version he thought his dad was for a long time
It's more so Mark Becoming the Man he thought his father was. In other words his ideal superhero
@nicholasaugello2534 yeah true
Mark begins as the typical superhero who sees the world in black and white, initially unable to recognize the complexities of gray. However, as we enter the black-and-blue suit arc, his moral convictions will increasingly be challenged. He will begin to see supervillains in a more nuanced light, particularly Powerplex, voiced by Aaron Paul, widely known for his role as Jesse in Breaking Bad.
@@Reyna_Amaturi yeah even Superman as much of a boy scout that he is recognizes that the world is not all black and white and the world is more grey.
The Voice actor part was so unnecessary
@ If you read the comics, something happens with PowerPlex and the actor who plays Jesse in Breaking Bad; both of these characters don't catch a break in life
Mark sees things in blank n white
Cecil sees things in gray
Both are right and wrong
That’s the thing once you start seeing only black and white, you come completely become blind yourself and not see the whole rainbow
I don’t know much about dark wing, but I do know that DNC Sinclair was 100% villain but cicel does have a point I mean even bad guys have the potential to redeem themselves though fighting off, Mark doesn’t actually mean that he wasn’t a bad guy
And forgiven people and being able to give people a second chance is also part of humanity
But Cecil attacking Mark with a weapon, totally unredeemable
And Mark has a point too I mean his best friend almost got killed by that monsters, stupid toy and his best friend‘s boyfriend got completely traumatized by that
But I will not say that Mark going super angry and hurting people who committed small crimes, especially duplicates, brother I mean, I wouldn’t go too far to kill people, but I would try to adventure avenge my brother if he ever got killed
I’m just saying that I don’t think either of them was wrong or right in these first episode episodes
I haven't read the comics, but I'm getting strong feelings these reformed villians are more brainwashed villains.
@@glycell5008 That did not happen in the comics but mabye
@@bigballerboysvlogs2169 yeah the new Dark Wing may be given a second chance but they should just take Sinclair’s work and lock him away forever
@@fantasy-writing-v5z That's not how that works, without Sinclair they can't keep improving the reanimen. You could take Einstein's journal but that doesn't mean you'd be able to continue or even understand his work without him. Look at Rudy, he's a super-genius but he still needed the Mauler twins and their specific expertise to make his new body.
I like that they told us mark had grown in all ways but then they showed it when he manhandled the undead robot soldiers. In season one it took just a few to destroy mark and now he’s taking on armies of them
The newer ones are full on corpses which makes them weaker but is obviously more ethical.
@@joshbourne9679 yeah the training is helping but also I think Viltramites getting stronger the older they get so even though I think it's only been maybe 2 years now that's still more than enough time for Mark to increase in strength
@@goddessrick8734 I mean the budget is also way bigger? We’ve also seen they’re not way weaker because they fight with omni-man in the season 1 finale and they slow him down a slight bit. I’d argue that they’re stronger because the resources to make them are infinite
@joshbourne9679 Omni Man was given some work by just 3. You'd have to assume that Mark is a lot stronger than Omni Man by this point which wouldn't make any narrative sense. Not even sure how his current strength increase will be explained. Maybe you could argue the newer one are designed for mass production.
@@goddessrick8734 they gave him zero work bro he got caught off guard and adjusted and wiped them with ease
I feel like Mark is gaining traits from his father but isn't fully becoming him, that's why he's so shocked at Oliver killing the maulers and taking omni mans approach. He's realising he has to kill sometimes because the stakes demand it but he Hates it. His humanity is keeping him more like Debby!. And he's not a puppet like nolan was in the beginning. He Made his own moral decisions like parting ways with Cecil. Where as nolan just obeyed the viltrumites up until he realised he loved his son in season 1 and done goofed
@@harriskendrick7011 I mean to be fair to Nolan he was raised from birth to be another solider for the Viltrumite empire he knew nothing else but the ways of being a Viltrumite, it wasn't until he went to earth and he met Debbie and had Mark that he realized there is more to life than the Viltrumite empire
I am so happy that invincible is back
Me to
A son becoming the father, tales as old as time.
I get the feeling that this season is going to be quite the roller coaster.
Invincible is becoming his dad but a good version of his dad. He's using lessons he learned from his experience with his dad and trying to give Oliver a better up-brining as a super-hero.
That was brutal of him of how he kills the Clones of Multi-Paul and how he beats up the Goons Mister Liu
there was supposed to be more to that scene in comic where mark fights Liu himself being gudied by Titan.
Amazon always releases 3 episodes day one like The Boys.
I love this show
This season is awesome
Mark blood pressure going up😢. Oliver needs to chill. Even if he's a kid, he knows what he's doing. Not stupid. The writers did good job stressing me out
It just dropped today😭
As much as I can see Cecil's point about putting villains to use, he needlessly escalated that argument with Mark cause no matter how you look at it he fired first when Mark was just rightly pissed off the guy who almost killed his best friend got off more or less with a slap on the wrist
Mark is acting like his dad while Oliver thinks and talks like him, they don't really have any ground to stand on and lets hope no Flaxans come through a portal otherwise Mark might just do what his dad did but with a heroic tone (not a spoiler as it didn't happen, if it did nobody mentioned it)
I like how they’re showing as much Rex as they can before what happens to him no spoilers
That's...literally a spoiler. You're strongly implying that something happens to Rex that would result in us seeing him a lot less, if at all, in the future.
@@fluffernutter6633people that don't want the show to be spoiled shouldn't be on videos about a new season that just came out.
@ You would have a point if this video was titled 'The Complete Story of Invincible', but it's not. It's a discussion video specifically about the season 3 premiere and thus you should be able to watch it without expecting spoilers for things that haven't happened in the show yet.
What people shouldn't be doing is talking about future events that have no relevance to the video and spoil the story. What you're doing is effectively dismissing negative behavior and instead blaming everyone else for having the audacity watch a spoiler-free video about a show they like.
@@fluffernutter6633 Keep complaining and crying about what other people type in a comment section, I'm sure you have nothing better to do
@Salisky That's right, It's my day off. Accomplishing something is what the other 6 days of the week are for. I'm sure you're not just salty that I annihilated whatever point you thought you had.
I love the first three episodes of season 3
Mark turning against Cecil makes him less like Nolan, not more. Nolan never trusted Cecil, and wouldn't hesitate to kill him. Mark is still giving Cecil chances and desperately wants to not kill him. He's trying to deprogram his brother, the real Nolan parallel. He's cleaning up his father's messes, and it is weighing on him.
The Guardians would be better off without Cecil. He's not improving them. He's dead weight.
marks been a crashout
The whole rehabilitation idea reminds me of hazbin hotel, if Charlie went to the invincible universe she'd be behind Cecil on not giving up on people but disagree with any forcing he does.
And is there a reason why Eve's father is named Adam? Like Adam and Eve from the bible? Is it a reference to that or just a coincidence?
I have a theory why Olivier is so much like Nolan. In season one they state that viltrumite genes are so strong they eventually take over. I've seen some spoilers that Olivier eventually stops being purple. So the question is, why is he considered an abomination by viltrumites but Mark is not? Well, maybe humans and viltrumites are so compatible that while the "super-powered" viltrumite part still becomes dominant, other parts of their biology that are shared between humans and viltrumites mix like during regular human-human (or viltrumite-viltrumite) reproduction, thus there is almost no genetic degradation. On the other hand viltrumites and however-those-bugs-are-called are not compatible, so the entirety of the viltrumite part takes over and Olivier is basically becoming a clone of Nolan. Which obviously wouldn't be good for the long-term health of the viltrumite species and that's why they would kill him
Mark is not becoming his dad at all, as someone whos read the whole series twice thats the last thing happening. Mark is overwhelmed right now, hes literally doing too much to protect everyone while trying to have a normal life. Both sides of his life is overwhelming right now.
Bruh, Season 3 needs more episodes than that?? WHAT!!!
@@ComicBoy60s Season 1 and Season 2 had 8 episodes too like this Season does
If i remember the comics. He does become more serious now and daves struggles trying to be an idealistic hero while also facing morally grey realities. I never cared for his darker suit. It feels like he is the same as oliver, changing fast through puberty.
Cecil needs to Invest more in Other Heroes. There are Plenty of Magical and Super Strong heroes out there. There’s no reason why The Immortal and Bulletproof with Similar Power-sets to Viltrumites couldn’t be Trained. Sure they will never be as Strong but they can BE better and they’ll great Backup for Mark while dealing with Conquest.
In my opinion Marc is slowly becoming a villain and less a hero, while Cecil is the good guy.
Oh no, sins of the father I tell you
There's no way the viltrumites make it to earth because they'd destroy earth's warriors. Something is going to happen that stops the viltrumites from getting to earth.
5:22 GDA: Global Defense Agency.
I've read the comics, so I'm more team Cecil. He was too fearful against Mark, but im also a pragmatist, so cecil makes more sense.
Too bad my dad decided to cut our Amazon subscription.
It’s better to reform the villains. Doc seismic did all of that inside of a prison cell.
Frankly, I can't wait because I'm beyond tired of his current character.
He's acting like he's fucking Spiderman, webbing crooks instead of gearing up to fight a galactic empire
W Season
It isn't even fully out yet
@Someone2828-t6w I know
The sins of the father
Dang bro. I’m only an hour late
I AM SUPREME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oliver did nothing wrong
Spoiler but Mark did nothing wrong in season 2.
After looking at everything...I support Cecil's decision's. And think Mark is being a bit of a self righteous hypocrite.
no hes not
No cap im with Cecil 😂😂
