My favorite is the blue one with the transfer. So many great ideas. Thank you for offering to link other creatives you tube channels. I want to start one now that I'm retired and have time :)
Susie, I love all of these! I think the little primitive mini rolling pins turned out great! I love the rustic primitive style and I might make some of those for myself. I don’t think you need to redo the last one, I think it looks like it’s vintage and it’s been used - which is beautiful!
Don’t redo the last one! It looked good.. especially with the distress handles!! Loved this video!! I wish I could find more rolling pins in my thrift stores, but they don’t seem to be very prevalent out here. I do have a lot of bowls, wooden bowls if you ever think that would make a good video I’d be interested in that! Love your channel. Keep it going, girl.
Wow, just wow! I’ve seen so many creators do rolling pins but I love your method best. You make it look so easy. Thanks so much for the inspiration. I’m definitely going to try one. Have a lovely day💕
I love your rolling pins! I have a bunch I need to get decorated. I haven't had luck selling them in my booth tho. 😢 I especially like the small ones. They are all really cute!
Susie, everyone has their opinion and mine is neither here nor there, but I thought the fern rolling pins were so pretty before you put the dark wax on them not so much after. The china blue is my favorite and I really liked the French one, too.The one with the Bella stamp was pretty like it was to me. Enjoyed the video and thanks!
I love them all but I think the one with transfers is my favorite. I like the idea of doing 1 type of item and showing the different ways to transform them.
I list it tomorrow on the website for you Mary Ann. I haven't taken it to the store yet. I'll wait till tomorrow so hopefully no one else will get it and you can order it with any new IOD you want when it is available tomorrow at 11:30 AM central time. (so you only have the one shipping charge)
Susie. I LOVE all of these!❤. I’ve just opened a Shop and done a few large rolling pins, but will now do some small ones too! Can I ask, if you don’t mind, what would you charge for them, please??? ❤❤
So I need your help how do I mark off my rolling pin so that I don’t roll too far when I’m trying to do something like the rule lap scene on the rolling pin?
I struggle with that too. I just go slow and watch it but sometimes I overlap. Maybe watch Zeb over on Jami ray vintage. He stamps alot of rolling pins.
Not in this case because I painted with Fusion which has a built in sealer. I sealed the one that I put transfers on to seal the transfers only. I would if I were using a chalk or clay based paint.
I am a primitive person ❤ the only thing I would say is for primitives the ferns do not scream primitive to me. Had you not stamped them at all and just did the handles and dark waxed them that would have been just fine❤
I love your ideas with the rolling pins I think they are beautiful. On the one big one I would of painted the little stripe on the handles the same color as the base just to tie it all in a little differently but that's just me. I'm not sure how I would price them though. Do you have any advice on pricing?
My favorite is the blue one with the transfer. So many great ideas.

I loved the French rolling pin. Scraps or not, it’s really beautiful.
What a fantastic idea! I have never seen this before. Just beautiful! Thank you for sharing…

Love the blue with the transfers and the cobalt blue stamped ones!
I like them all but I especially like the blue ones💙
They are all lovely, but I think the last one is my fave!
Thank you! Alot of people like the last one so maybe I will leave it as is.
My favorite rolling pin is the last one that you had so much trouble with. I think it turned out beautiful!!! ❤

Love it
I paint the ends before the handles
Susie, I would love to get the rolling pin with the blue toile print and the dark blue handles.

I look for rolling pins, but I have not found any.
Susie. I LOVE all of these!❤. I’ve just opened a Shop and done a few large rolling pins, but will now do some small ones too! Can I ask, if you don’t mind, what would you charge for them, please??? ❤❤
I haven't got them priced yet but I'm thinking around $12 for the sets of 3. and $14 for the larger ones.
@susieonthefarm Thank you! I'm in the UK and I was thinking the same. Great job!👏❤️
I love all of these, what do you sell the rolling pins for?
Usually from $12-16
Why not wrap the stamp around the pin
I tried that but it smeared.
Do u know what i could seal rolling pins with after i paint and stencil on them that would make them still usable
if you paint them they cannot be food safe unless you use a food safe milk paint and seal it with hemp oil or some other food safe oil.
Nope u r wrong, use a non.toxic food safe acrylic and u.can seal with polycryluc and use. It's food safe, u.just can't put them n a dishwasher
Do you clear coat the rolling pins after paint and stamping?
Not in this case because I painted with Fusion which has a built in sealer. I sealed the one that I put transfers on to seal the transfers only. I would if I were using a chalk or clay based paint.
I am a primitive person ❤ the only thing I would say is for primitives the ferns do not scream primitive to me. Had you not stamped them at all and just did the handles and dark waxed them that would have been just fine❤
I kind of agree. They didn't turn out like I imagined.

Great idea. I usually do $14 to $18 on the rolling pins. Probably do $12 for the mini sets
@susieonthefarm thank you so much. Your so creative. I love your style.
Love them all!
I love these!
