Back in the early 2000's I was on my way home during the month of January, it was really cold outside. It also happened to be the evening rush hour in the Detroit-Dearborn area. Traffic was stopped. Horns were blaring, people were getting cranky from their long day of work and the weather sucked!!! One car was holding up traffic. People were yelling at this car, giving them the finger. It was horrible... I noticed it was a little old couple, probably mid to late 70's. I got out of my van and approached them to offer help. They ran out of gas. So I pushed their car on foot while they were inside. I'm a pretty big guy, the car was a Ford Tempo, not a huge car. I had to push them about 600 feet to the nearest safe spot so they were out of traffic. The elderly man was driving, you could see he and his wife were still visibly shaken! I told the man I had a gas can back in my van. Which was still blocking traffic right where I left it with my hazard lights on... I came back to get the man so we could go to the gas station. Filled the can, went back to their car. The man starts a conversation with me. He told me he had never expected a young white man would stop and help he and his wife! He asked me why I stopped. I told him the God's honest truth! I said sir, "I stopped because in the event that this happened to my grandparents or my mom and dad, I'd want someone kind enough to do the right thing. I'd want to know that someone cared enough make sure that 2 people who were anxious and starting to get scared as people swore at them and flipped them off while honking as they passed them were put at ease with an act or 2 of kindness!" I let the man know it had nothing to do with my color or their color, I did it because I'd want their family to know that their parents and grandparents were safe and cared for. I followed them to the gas station. I guess the old guy told his wife about our conversation. When we got out at the gas station his wife approached me and asked if she could hug me, give me a kiss on the cheek and pray with her for a moment! I said absolutely... She thanked our Lord for me helping them and asked God to see to my needs and health along with my loved ones! We said Amen! The man offered me money. I told him your money is no good here. I'm just happy you're both alright. He shook my hand, his wife hugged me one more time as she was still holding my left hand from when we prayed. We got in our vehicles with hope and kindness in our hearts and went on our way! People are People! Be kind... Be hope.... Stop treating people as separate colors and treat people as people! Like Morgan Freeman told that 60 minutes interviewer, "Its only a problem because the media keeps telling everyone its a problem. Stop talking about it!"

When Denzel said “Because I’m president you all gotta get along now.” Play it back. Get the context. Then, look at the pride his wife has on her face about her husband’s handling of it all. Those two are an amazing couple and will never leave each other. And those two are what American is all about. I have such high praise for Mr. And Mrs. Washington. Love them both. And Morgan Freeman? I feel the same about him. “Stop talking about racism”. I’m not going to go out of my way to tell my skin color. It’s not about skin color. This country is a melting pot. What happens in a melting pot? All in the pot becomes one. You wanna talk culture? This country is a melting pot of many individual cultures. Put us all together and we are Americans. Period.
Jackson, Freeman, Washington. Live long and prosper. 🔥
I love this .Denzel Washington. Samuel
L jackson. And Morgan freeman .
Great stuff. Great Actors 👍 👌
Mr. Morgan Freeman’s wisdom is so refreshing. I have the upmost respect for Mr. Freeman.
Morgan Freeman, and Kurt Russell were legendary in their responses.
Samuel "TRY IT!! We're not going to have this conversation unless you say it!" 😂😂
Samuel Jackson - I was waiting for him to go full Pulp Fiction on the interviewer -“say it, mother-f**ker!!” 😂😂
I would have melted on the spot. I'm not Leonardo Dicaprio.
I love these people, just straight up and not playing the game.
TRY IT!!!!

im dead lol😂😂😂😂
Aw man, love what Denzel said about cultural differences! He nailed it in a nutshell!
What the actual fuck lol
@@brian_cameron98yeaaah I’m with ya bro I’m calling BS…or if nothing else… HIGHLY embellished.
Your momma raised you right. ❤
@@SkyPilot-qx2sb not bs at all! I've no reason to lie about something that happened 22yrs ago! Zero embellishment added!
@@brian_cameron98 with that being said, you're probably the kind of person that would've honked, swore at them and flipped them off! Get over yourself. Some of us still have the heart to do the right thing...
It wasn't a great question if you cannot say the word..That is one of his best! absolutely brilliant and correct.
Morgan Freeman nailed it.
I think the best putdown I have ever witnessed was when James Leno managed to mistake Samuel L. Jackson for Lawrence Fishburne and said: "So Lawrence..."
The Look on Jackson's face was a picture...just before he started to lay into him, by starting it with: "I am Samuel L. Jackson, Laurence Fishburne is the other Black Actor...I know we all look the same to you white Guys, but..."
It was so funny, the Interviewer had no clue where to put his face :0)
I swear that all I could think was ... "Samuel Jackson just went Jules there for a second" 😆
Thanks to these actors for just being human and putting the antagonist of broadcast in their place. Much more respect for these actors
Having Samuel L Jackson intimidate you to saying the word. And then once you say the word, he kicks your a**.
8:32 Amazing!! ❤
I’ve been watching Morgan (&Rita) since I was a kid on uhf pbs channel 11 on a B&W zenith 50+ years ago.
He always gives people a real chance for connection. Big respect 🫶🏼 Loved your response in this interview Morgan! Thank you 🙏
Lol...we must be around the same age. I remember Morgan Freeman from the Electric Company.
Hey Denzel, great takes!!
It's admirable how calm and composed Denzel is at all occasions. A role model for many.
Try it try it 😂😂😂😂
black history is American history, American history is world history, world history is human history, PERIOD
Morgan Freeman and Samuel L. Jackson, two different approaches. But what powerful statements!
Say it, I dare ya, I double dare ya Mf!
Excellent video.
That Morgan ending was all facts!
And this is why these are a few of my favorites. Denzel, Morgan Freeman,Kurt Russell. The best.
The world should really listen and take note of what Morgan Freeman said
Samuel L Jackson was like Jules shouting at Ringo.
What cant other people have this level of integrity?
They’re reaction seekers
It's Mike Wallace, not Matt.
Correct and this is why today's reporters haven't got a clue on how to research their subjects. Disgusting. Thanks for catching that error and beating me to the post.
Careful, I'm sure someone, somewhere, will say you're racist for pointing that out....😃
Matt is Mike's evil twin.
Matthew’s “hmmm” he knew where it was going 😂
There are no such things as bad words...there are only bad uses of said words.
So bad words
You think you’ve accomplished something by pinning a meaningless label on someone you don’t like and then criticizing them for the unidentifiable characteristics of that label. You’re a legend in your own mind.
Absolutely nailed it
2:29 "Gun control laws won't deter terrorists...can you explain that?"
"Killing only one person is a waste of a good bomb". That's why the terrorists won't waste time with guns.
The view is absolute trash
bunch of women - no chance for inteligent talk
I love the Denzel response lol. He took her to a place she couldn't follow lol
Tell Kamala that my donation was flushed earlier this morning!
Said a MAGA dummy.
@@57briben get lost u woke stooge
Samuel L. Jackson has wrecked countless woke reporters... 😂😂😂😂
Intelligent vs stupid
Stupid is stupid does.
If Samuel Jackson is telling me to do something… imma do it. lol.
The term “gun violence” always annoys me. There is no such thing, guns aren’t violent, it ‘s people violence. What difference does it make what sort of implement or weapon the violent person used?
True. The term „gun violence“ will crumble down if you break down the numbers.
Black kids killing each other in the street with guns? Oh boy, this cant be.
6:26 this dude isn’t even woke he’s just pointing out that people didn’t like Leo saying the n word, he didn’t even ask him the question… “intense”???
Exactly
1000% man I think Denzel and other actors and other important people can be very influential in politics even though they shouldn't be and vice versa I think people that have power should be more relaxed@@danneyxxx6614
I really don't like how important people don't think that they're not influential because nowadays they are but I understand the way the old brain thinks because I wish they weren't I got you guys good luck Denzel top 5 forever
