When you are in Norway you should drive through the Lærdalstunnel. The worlds longest tunnel for cars, it is 24,5, km long. And if you are in the area its not that long to go to Trollstigen and the Atlantic Ocean Road. And you could stay at the Lærdalsøren Hotel. The owner there is a true petrolhead. He often has som car events at the hotel, he owns a Lamborghini Diablo and a Murcielago, plus a nice vintage Mercedes and some other things. And if you are in Norway either on 24- 26 May, 12- 14 July or 23-25 August you should go to one of the Gatebil events. They are insane. And if you are going to the North of Norway then you should try to check out the Artic Circle Raceway, it is the racetrack longest north in the world. Keep up the good work.

Hey Sam, great to hear that you have such a thorough trip coming up! But you are missing a whole chunk of Europe: Poland and the Baltic states! They are beautiful in late spring / early summer. If you are still working out your route through the northeast of Europe, why not after Helsinki go through Tallinn - Riga - Vilnius - Warsaw - Berlin! Or even more efficient would be to move north after the Czech Republic, through Warsaw - Vilnius - Riga - Tallinn - Helsinki, and then come back through Scandinavia to Berlin and Frankfurt! Greetings from Riga, I could give you tips what to see in Latvia :)
If you're planning a route through Norway, expect it to take twice as long as you'd expect. Lot's of small/slow roads and campers and caravans with no opportunity to overtake. Expect an average speed of 40mph maximum. Very beautiful and epic but slow.

You have to visit Budapest and Prague, the most beautiful cities I've ever been to, a night sailing on Danube in Budapest is stunning, try and visit Megyeri Csárda in Budapest as well, the food is great and you have a seek into their culture

After you've been to Prague, see if you can fit in a visit to Colditz castle (an ex-POW camp), in Germany. It's fascinating and a wonderful guided tour around the castle (with all the escape tunnels and the actual GLIDER the prisoners made).
I hope you will take the Adriatic route from Zagreb to Sofia, wonderful historic cities along the way, several national parks, beautiful coastline along the way, Game of thrones locations (if you're into that sort of thing), etc.

It's a shame, there are not many car guys in Poland who are also fluent enough in English so that they are naturally interested in content in English... And the car events that are held in Poland, and are big enough to be recognized in the rest of the world are concentrated around tuner cars. I'm talking about Raceism and Japfest. But maybe, just maybe... Sam is also interested in that kind of content?

I can't agree with you. I'm living in southern Poland and roads are really good (compared to Czech roads, not only motorways). Around big cities (e.g. Kraków - Katowice - Wrocław) you've got fast and smooth roads.
Guys, what about infamous "droga stu zakrętów" ("road of the 100 corners") the one which took life of our beloved Marian Bublewicz back in the days? It's one of those roads worth taking a trip to just for the sake of the road and the motorsport history around it.
Tips for your Norwegain leg. Cross the country from Oslo to Bergen, the carscene in Oslo is great but the westcoast of Norway is far more beautiful. From Bergen make your way up to Ålesund (voted most gorgeous city in Norway). Continue north on the Altantic ocean road (instafriendly and super cool) to Trondheim which has a pretty decent carscene (I live here and I'm happy to help with finding great roads, where/when to spot cars and any general questions you may have). Keep the great content coming! :D
If you are driving between Sofia and Bucharest you HAVE to stop by in Veliko Tarnovo. Beautiful scenic and historical city (it was the capital of the Second Bulgarian empire). The village of Arbanasi overlooks Veliko Tarnovo, there's some hotels there (with cafés too if you only want to stop for a moment) with an amazing view. The entire village keeps an old style of Bulgarian architecture. There you can also visit one of the residences of our last communist leader, Todor Zhivkov.
How about Luxembourg? I know it is VERY small but will you at least drive through it and stop at the biggest gas station in all of Europe for a STARBUCKS and the cheapest refuel?

You do know, that the polluted air won't be cleaned by the surgical mask, because it can flow through the sides? Surgical masks can only protect you from splashing fluids. There are masks which clean the air to an certain extent but those look very funky. They use a valve which is closed when inhaling in order to suck the air through the material of the mask. When you exhale the valve then opens.
Your travels so far had all been either former british colonies or members of the commonwealth and it seems you had a great time. But as soon as you arrive in a truly foreign place, you are caught unprepared and lost. i don't wanna sound mean but, don't go half way around the world to just be in familiar surroundings, do your homework and get some truly foreign experiences. China is the oldest continous civilization in the world, I hope you come back again and experience more than just the air and hotels.

I'm a European (the Netherlands) who travelled to China back in 2012. First Beijing for a bit and Shanghai after that. I remember the smell to this day. It's the same smell as NewYears eve in Holland. I enjoyed my trip, but I don't think I would go back in a hurry. Too busy, too smelly, not particularly interesting enough to make for a second visit. Of course that's just my opinion. Still loving the content, I don't think that the views on these video's reflect the quality. But I don't care, I'm going to follow this all the way through! I love the mix of lifestyle and car vlogging. :)!
I travelled to Amsterdam back in 2012. People doing drugs everywhere, prostitution out in the streets, people urinating and vomiting in public. I remember the smell to this day. Also saw a lot of people being racist (Dutch - the original colonizers) and sexist. Many drunk british and eastern europeans being extremely rude. Everyone's got an opinion, mate.
