I found a hand of Rafaam very good actually. Enemy lose 2 first turns trying to use a curses, or take like 10-20 damage in return.
Totaly OP is 2 empowers though.

Had a heroic run where i had is boss as the last one and got a 0 mana alexstrasza through recruiting her and choosing the reduce a random minion to 0 mana in the same tavern encounter. Then had her in my opening hand and kill this boss in turn 3 :D

Why did Kripp not go with Glyph and Pavelling Book when he was one off lethal? It's not like one point of direct damage is hard to find as a Mage.

so didnt use random spell or the discover a spell for 3 turns even though you only needed 3 dmg to kill the boss ?
With the Robess of Gaudiness passive ability he can only play 2 cards each turn.

at 5:40 discover a spell. if it deals 3 or more dmg, he could doubble fireball the next turn, and won. Since he has the weapon for 5 dmg aswell.

Did I miss something? When a hearthstone announcement comes out Kripp usually has a discussion video ready in hours. They've buffed cards for the first time in hearthstone history, a change he's been championing for years, and it's now been days and we still don't have a smug "they finally listened to me and I was right" discussion piece. Why have you forsaken us?

The Box sucks, if only because it's useless the turn you draw it. I still haven't taken it, all the other treasure that was new to me looked better.
That's a definite downside, but the upside is that you get a chance to get any treasure. It's very flexible. I rate it as a pretty nice treasure overall.

5:17 All attack face, Fireball and Poly boar the 6/1 and go face again = 26 damage leaving the boss with 16 hp, Next turn you get a 5/3 weapon and have a left over fireball leaving him with 5, Toss out the taunt for good measure and whack him face for the kill.
6:10 really shouldn't have traded here, The extra 6 damage would have been helpful. Most likely he would have traded anyway and even if he didn't it's just a 4 damage
6:40 I would have glyphed, All you needed to win next turn was 3 Damage and if you didn't get that then Frost Nova or Blizzard.
You have no choice, if the game decides you must lose, you will lose and you can’t do nothing about it because that’s the nature of randomness.
Don’t pick rng cards that have the ability to retort on your game and make the situation worse

8:10 am i wrong or is that missed leathal? Fireball + Full Mana Forbidden Flame = 6 + 10 = 16
Forbidden Flame only targets minions - otherwise it would've been run in every single mage deck lol

@@badwulff It wouldnt even be close to being run though? Why would being able to have a weaker fireball or same as pyroblast be run when pyro isnt?
@@lucasnadamas9317 Cus they always need more cheap burn. It's more versatile than Pyroblast, and can be used as a middle-of-the-road burn tool.
Now obviously, this is totally hypothetical, so there's no way of knowing if it actually would be run, but I'd imagine decks like Secret or Mech Mage would have made room for it (so okay, maybe not _every_ single Mage deck).
