Chow chow with my beans, greens and cornbread is the absolute best. Esp if you have some sweet raw onion to eat on the side. This time of the year probably not many sweet onions. But there are some in the stores. And some fried potatoes with this meal is good as well. I pretty much just eat one meal a day with a light snack in the evening. So this is one of my favorite lunches.
I've never had chow-chow before. Wouldn't mind trying it sometime. That's a beautiful cook-pot on your stove. What kind is that? I want one like it. Thanks for your videos and have a great day! 💐🙂👍
Do you remember where you first got your walking onions? I think I need to find some to plant next spring. I'm in Iowa so planting is quite a while off. But I want to start thinking about things now. Thanks!
Yes I do! I ordered them online from Gurney's and once from Esty. Plant once and let them produce little onion bulbs and gather those and plant. Repeat each time they produce them. And you will never run out of onions.
Thank you Linda looks like another delicious dish I’ve never had before so excited to try.
Hope you enjoy
Love chow chow
Me too

In best case yes, but I have canned over the years with water just up to top of jars and it works just as well
