He 100% saw Hume. On the better quality (FPS) clips you can see Beale turn his head slightly towards Hume, and the timing of the sidestep as well. I was willing to give him a chance, but this incident has tipped the scales for me. Makes me wonder if there was more to the Pritchard falling out than was made public.

If he did have his eyes open and didn't see him, he needs his driving licence revoking.
@@nelftmI just don’t get what Beale gets out of lying about it. He knows anything he does/says will be scrutinised especially when he barely has the backing of anyone in the fan base. Now this saga is being used as ammunition for wanting him out when we don’t even know for sure.

Saying "Yeah, I blanked him" makes him even more despised by the majority of fans
And I say that as someone who gave him the benefit of the doubt until this week.
Doesn't really matter if he did or didn't, only he knows the truth. Either way it looks how it looks, ignorant and arrogant, and the exact type of person we don't need at this club, we've seen signs of it with he's arsey comments towards Sunderland fans in press conferences. He's done, he should never have been appointed, get rid, and find mowbrays replacement properly this time instead of always going for a free agent
I'm mainly pissed off with kld. What he has done to this club since last season is embarrassing. We nearly got promoted to the premier league, instead of building on the most exciting team in the championship last season, him and he's executives tear it apart. All we needed was a replacement for diallo, someone half as good would of been ok, a decent striker, and a couple additions in other areas. But no, they force out Gooch and batth, sign a bunch of kids for buttons, then blame mowbray when we aren't winning every week, then the absolute cherry on top, we replace him with Beale 🤦 absolute Circus of a season, dont get me started on the ownership selling he's own fans out for a few quid off the Geordies, I'm still trying to forget about that.

That my friend is an excellent summary of what has gone wrong since last season. Beale must go, Speakman must go. KLD should sell. Heis just a Playboy with no idea of what the club means to the town or its fans 🔴⚪🔴⚪
This goes deeper than Beale. When he does go does it mean we will only hire a coach that won’t be allowed to bring his back room staff? Why isn’t speakman held accountable just as much as the manager is for results? We need a fresh approach.
The confidence of the players and the fans is slipping away and is plane to see, it's so sad to watch the slide.

Every new coach brings in his own ideas but we are unwatchable under MB. I didn't renew my season ticket this season for multiple reasons non of these involved money. Now I'm sitting in my armchair feeling justified but I want the club to drag me back from my slumber.
That won't happen with the people in charge of the club never renewed my season ticket for the reason that the owners have shown no ambition

The problem is not that Beale didn't see Hume's extend his hand. From the camera angle it looked entirely plausible, imho.
But that is beside the point. Beale must have known that Hume had walked to the side of him, so the question is, why Beale didn't acknowledge Hume in the first place.
Would have thought it the least a manager can do is say a quick, "well done", and give a pat on the back, bump fists or whatever the suitable custom is appropriate.
Maybe he was miles away thinking about the game?
It's not a good look, though, and I see why the Mackems are not happy.

Same story for Beale at Sunderland as at Rangers, just described in a different accent.
All the indications are that Sunderland senior management are out to make money from the sale of young, talented players. What they will do with the money coming in is the $64K question! 😎👍
No ones throwing jobe under the bus. The fact is, he needs to be dropped, he’s out of form. Before the Plymouth game, he was poor for 6 games. The decision not to pass to Clarke was poor and he should bollocked for it so he learns not to make the same mistake in future games.
I saw a fair few on social media really having a go at him.
Jobe Bellingham could be a "Hell of Player" but when he was at Blues he had a reputation of being a petulant child (as mentioned by Troy Deeney). His antics towards the end of the game where he was egging the crowd on were OTT and he simply didn't have too & this wont be forgotten by Blues Fans. I really hope he fulfills his potential , i don't buy into this "Brother syndrome" that everyone labels him with. The key for Jobe & Sunderland is Mike Dodds, as long as Mike is around him then he's nothing to worry about. You only have to look at the talent we have at the blues Academy past 5 years to see that, Bellingham, JJ, Donavan, George Hall & Junior Dixon

As far as I can see , no team ever been promoted after losing 14 games, won't happen !,stop going on about it , need to use rest of season to get a settled squad playing to their strengths, coaching needs to improve , no-one is fault free , kl d needs educating about the massive history and traditions of our club, ftm,hwtl, good luck , mick
You can't sack a manager because you didn't think they'd lead you to promotion and then settle for mid table with the manager you hired to get you promotion. Let's be honest, it was always going to be a tough ask this season with a much stronger league and our team being weaker but the club backed themselves into a corner by saying the ambition was promotion.
Clarke goes in the summer, possibly a few others... Next season we struggle.

I think Speakman is limited in scope by the parameters set by Sunderland’s owners personally
Beale must go, also speakman needs to go, his failures are coming out now, his sacking of tony mowbray for asking for players, he brought in beale obviously last choice and brought in players, speakman must go and kld needs to wake up before he looses his fans !
