Okay, when I heard The Rock was going to be Black Adam, I was really worried he would be cracking jokes the whole time and it would completely bastardize who Black Adam is supposed to be. I thought it would be indistinguishable from Shazam. But based on this trailer, it feels like they are absolutely being respectful to Black Adam's personality and source material, and the "comedy" sounds like it might be coming from the other characters moreso. I'm so so so excited if this continues to be the case. Please don't be just another Shazam. Black Adam is meant to be a darker character and not a funny one.
