      @@nestadventure4444 why do monsoon start from eastern terai

    • @nestadventure4444
      @nestadventure4444  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sunita Maharjan The humid winds from the Bay of Bengal are feeding moisture to Nepal’s eastern part first. Due to its travel though first the eastern Nepal likely the monsoon arrives first in the east.

    Great video and very informative for Nepal travel! But how bad is monsoon season in first 2 week and last 2 weeks/early September? Rain almost finished or still there are monsoons?

    • @nestadventure4444
      @nestadventure4444  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We can't really predict but looking back on the past few years, Mansoon still remains until the third week of September. Some year has even pushed until the first week of October.

    How will Muktinath's journey in the month of June be?

    • @nestadventure4444
      @nestadventure4444  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, for Muktinath it should be fine. The lower part may have some monsoon at night, but once you reach the Jomsom valley chances of rain is expected lower.

      @@tavocead Trekking to Everest Base camp during the month of July it's not the best time, However, you will see some hikers would still do this trek in July. I would recommend you to have extra days. Most likely the flight to Lukla and Lukla to Kathmandu might be delayed or some days even cancelled for the whole day. so be prepared. Mountain view might not open all time but normally the morning sky is very clear. Try, go get up early as possible if you want to see the mountain view. It is better to start a hike early in the morning as the weather normally gets worse after midday. You wouldn't be upset about the dramatic views of hide and seek mountain between running cloude. and the better part no crude on the trail. Good luck!

    I am going to Nepal today and I saw thunderstorms are still continue. I was planing to stay in Kathmandu 3 days and Pokhara 2 days. I want to make daily hiking to see the mountains but I do not know how it will be with the thunderstom. Should I cancel my trip to Pokhara or should I go? If I can not see the himalayas I don t want to spend my 2 days on the road.

      The monsoon in Nepal doesn't completly stop until the last week of September. However, Thunderstorms in Nepal is not as bad as it sounds. Rainstorms what we could imagine like in the southern USA, or even in East Asia, We don't have pouring rain as they do. The rain in Nepal normally doesn't even last for an hour mostly at night. and most of the time the sky becomes bright or cloud with the sun.
      Normally the morning sky is clear so you still have some chances to enjoy the first couple of hour mountain view from Pokhara. If you are especially hiking in Nepal in monsoon time (At this time of the year) You might still enjoy the morning sky. But again it's not in my control how the morning visibility will turn out. I would say September might not be the best time for Hiking and Trekking in Nepal, but definitely a starting of an Autumn with start-up number of tourist in the country.

    Why manang, mustang get less rainfall..?

    • @nestadventure4444
      @nestadventure4444  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Preserve Khanal thank you for stopping by and the questions. I don't know the solid reason why it's less rainfall in Manang and Mustang. May be its because these two Valleys are behind the two of the greater Himalaya Mount Annapurna and Mt Dhaulagiri. They said these two giant blocks the monsoon from entering Manang and Mustang. These area is also known as the rain shadow part of the Himalayas I hope you receive what you looking for.
