Rewatching this and realizing just how much I love Pond's character. Yes he may be a big flirt and a huge jokester but he really cares for all his friends. Never really ever being judgemental about their sexual orientation and even trying to help out Ae as he was struggling with his. Plus, his whole advice to Pete when he was down about Ae not accepting his shoes is truly advice to keep and take forward in our lives.
