      Yes!!! This glamorization of single motherhood makes people feel better and ignore the fact that in most cases it starts the cycle of poverty.
      Nobody wants to hear that though.
      I'm sure someone is about to post and exception story and tell me how wrong I am.
      At the end of the day, we should aim to stop burdening the system with this problem. Along with as stated earlier, always having to walk into a blended family.
      If you waited all your life to wait for the right person but too many people [your age group/dating preference group] are "done with that" because they already had several.....that's problematic.

      First off, not to be rude but did even read what (k f) was saying? Granted, there were things I didn't agree with but they did make a few points I DO agree with. Also, what does it matter what country they're from? "The Real Daytime" may be based in the U.S., yes but it DOES AIR in other countries too. 🤦🏽‍♀️
      People from other countries can chime in as well and maybe give another perspective. IDK. 🤷🏽‍♀️
      Secondly, what do you mean, “If you waited all your life to wait for the right person but too many people [your age group/dating preference group] are "done with that" because they already had several.....that's problematic.”
      I'm lost on the "problematic" part and the "done with that" part.
      Are you saying that people who already had kids from previous relationship(s) is problematic? Or are you saying its a problem if a guy doesn't want any/anymore kids because he may or may not have already had one or more???
      Also, not to "glamorize" single motherhood but there ARE SOME women who WANT and choose TO BE single mothers. Some women go to sperm banks to start their families. 🤷🏽‍♀️
      I'm not going to say your wrong or make and "exception story" but I'm not sure if in "most cases", single motherhood specifically, "starts the cycle of poverty", ALONE. I think there's other contributing factors that go into that.

    As a single mom I can see the perspective however I really think there are multiple perspectives. All single moms weren’t having sex with someone out of simply lust. A lot of us had a child and chose to keep a child with someone they genuinely thought would be a good partner and person and we’re in love. Sometimes it just doesn’t work out. And we as single moms deserve the happiness that new love can bring. And of course as GOOD moms we would want anyone that is around our child consistently to be somebody that loves them. It takes a special man to take on that position but nobody is “trapping” or “forcing” a man to do it. A responsible single mom makes it clear from the beginning that we are a package deal and HE can make the choice to continue to consider me as a potential partner. We are just fine on our own. We also didn’t make these children on our own. The father should at least be contributing financially so us as single moms aren’t out here settling for crappy men just so we can have some help. Rant over 😂

Many women choose the wrong men and then go and choose another wrong man which then creates more broken homes. Men need to be accountable for not stepping up and not making sure to protect themselves but women need to be held accountable when they know they aren’t being safe, and then if you end up pregnant and it’s not what you wanted and that man doesn’t step up for you make sure you make better choices in the future to not have more children with men you KNOW won’t step up.

Any (cis) 'man' who wants to tell you what to do with your bodies is not your friend - he views you as less than human, less than the parasite that grows in your womb. I use to love this show because they actually kept it REAL. Idk what happened but they never have actual opinions anymore they dance around and go off topic so much, everything is about political correctness. The reponse to this in season 1 would have been…nobody can force anyone to do anything, that includes be a good a bio father or step father. People change after a baby, if you’re single or married. Yes, both people can “trap someone” but the topic is about trapping a step parent with that mindset already in mind when being with the bio parent .. so what are they talking about, they didn’t even answer the question??

    • @Drawingboredi
      @Drawingboredi 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Adrianne said she doesn't believe anyone would have a child with the hope to trap another perspn to father them. That's discussing the topic. People are not always being politically correct. Some are being kind, understanding, considerate, compassionate and aware that they don't know it all. I would rather have people who speak a truth without the intension to hurt others then people who use their words carelessly. Imagine there are single mom's who deserve love and then these women just say , yes women have kids to trap New loves. Do you know what kind of image and falsehood this would put out about single mom's? They are expected to sometimes have opinions on subjects they have not incountered. They can't just spit " final truths" like Tamar and Amanda used to. It's unfair to the rest of the people who don't fall under their "truth". And many people don't fall under YOUR truth either. Judging by yout standards, in this instance you are not Real. To this person saying she is glad this show ending, so many people will be scrambling and out of work. A little compassion goes a long way.

    • @Drawingboredi

      Some people like to hide being mean behind calling it " Real".

    • @terimichelle8063
      @terimichelle8063 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Drawingboredi I disagree, why have a talk show called the real if you’re worried about pleasing everybody? You’ll never please everyone regardless. It’s not difficult to speak a truth without being intentionally hurtful. Obviously, they wouldn’t say “single mothers have kids to trap people” because that’s a generalization and ultimately untrue so it wouldn’t make sense, and would be UNREAL. I’m a single mother myself so I’m not sure if you used that example because you thought that’s what I was trying to say but you’d be incorrect. If you bothered to truly read my comment and use that compassion and understanding you’re talking about, you’d see how I made a quote of what would be said first season as opposed to what’s said now. It wasn’t rude, lacking compassion, inconsiderate or generalized ignorant statement like the one you provided. It took a stance and stayed on topic unlike what the ladies are doing now which is why the show is getting cancelled and ratings are so low. numbers don’t lie. Views in the original seasons were much higher because the ladies were real and they were never rude even if I didn’t agree with them on something, they understood where they were coming from. This is a talk show about life in general not advanced physics so as far as speaking without knowledge it’s possible yet there are four ladies here with different backgrounds to bounce questions off which they use to do just fine. So yes, I believe they are too worried about political correctness.

When we grew up and I reunited with my father he confessed to not wanting kids... my mother never confessed it but she doesn’t have too... I already know ... we all do... but the interesting thing about life is Newton’s third law of physics... it states that for every action produces an equal but opposite reaction. So just as my parents didn’t want kids, now their grown children dont want them either... we’re all doing good financially and I know my parents could use any help in their old age... but the help they desire will never come ...I haven’t seen or spoken to my own mother in 6 plus years and counting ... she asks about me but in my heart I know she only does it because she WANTS something. I doubt I’ll even be at her funeral... moral of the story is make sure you get with the right partners that actually “want” kids... if not it WILL backfire ... when those kids grow up they repay ... good or bad

I was 5... yea she’s got abortions alright... probably like 3 of them... that goes to show you how less she values life... especially her kids... my dad was in on all of that too... so yes you’re right, I don’t have kids by choice... and because I had such horrible examples I will wait until I’m super successful financially and emotionally ready for that lifelong commitment if I ever decide to have kids in the future... but as far as the family I came from... that ship has sailed and sunken and I can only look onward and forward... im getting to the place where my mind is deleting all traces and rememberances of anyone that was ever in my past... and it’s sooo peaceful to press the delete button

Well recently she got pregnant by another man twice the last child is 8 months old and she started this whole rumor and had everyone believe that that child is my husband's,🧐🤨. Told everyone and her mother swearing up and down lying in my face when I know that's not the case. My husband and I got married while she was running around doing x y and z . The problem is that I just gave birth to my first who is now 1 month old. And it looks so bad. My husband is a Christian man and doesn't want his4 kids to see their mother in another light or shame the other two that are not his. Ugh. How does a woman have the audacity to lay with a man, the deadbeat and then come and push that child on the push over. The good thing is that she knows that I know that the last two aren't his. 🤷a mess.
