I can understand that vehicles are occasionally annoying to play against especially when you’re playing against a really good player but Jesus the people that play Battlefield and have a burning passion for hating on air vehicles to the point where they sit in spawn every match with anti-air amuse me.
That shot at 5:55 with the plane getting hit and spiraling into the cliff has to be the most cinematic thing I have ever seen in a video game. That feels real on an uncanny level.
Pacific storm was the update the game needed. It was the update that finally told us the direction it was heading and kinda redeemed itself with the community but then EA decided to end development of the game. Star Wars Battlefront II also had the same treatment. Get a neat update then murdered. Game is enjoyable as it was when I played the many previous titles of BF. I LOVE running around being a medic or just an aggresive pathfinder recon. c: PTFO as they always say!
In steam charts, it has more players than bf4 and bf1 but i picked up bf1 on sale instead because they say there are more players on bf1, idk if i made the right decision... Hmm 🤔

Yeah. Whats scary is that as stealth gets better and better, BFM is becoming more important because theres a even greater chance than like 30 years ago that jets would go to a merge. So we went from WW1 planes and flying less than a 500 feet from each other, to WW2 dogfighting in the first dawn of dogfighting strategy, Korea-vietnam where missiles were introduced and gun kills were becoming more uncommon, to full on BVR priority in the cold war, back to BFM in modern ages with million dollar jets with high tech radars and missiles that can go 60 miles

I came from a farm background where you're disciplined for being a whiner, and rewarded with good hard work. Dawn to dusk is filled with work. @@jayus2033 A large majority of the Pacific Theatre was planes, also look at bombing raids and Britain during WW2. A lot of planes existed back then as air superiority is a major key to winning a war.

I just came here at this game from 1 year not seeing any gameplay of it and I can say the planes are so unrealistic compared to war thunder, I know that even in war thunder they aren’t the best but they at least have some physics

I wanted to add that being able to take hits is sort of an advantage for single player games. I would steer clear of nerfing everything with that minset because you would make some things unplayable. Game developers screw up by adding the stuff to began with. Surviving a hit from a single shot weapon for exsample lets say a sniper. If they got a good shot, then it should be game over for you fair and square. Instead of you surviving and killing them with your machine gun which shoots way faster. This is a problem in fallout 76 which made sniper rifles useless in pvp. It was acceptable there because pvp wasn't the main focus unlike here. Do planes need to be nerfed? Perhaps, but your reasoning doesn't sound like a solid reason to do so. There shouldn't be any expectation you would survive a hit from anything in the pvp of realistic or simi realistic games, especially those that promote thinking stealth, and tactics.

Surviving a hit from a single shot weapon for exsample lets say a sniper. If they got a good shot, then it should be game over for you fair and square. Instead of you surviving and killing them with your machine gun which shoots way faster.
This is a problem in fallout 76 which made sniper rifles useless in pvp. It was acceptable there because pvp wasn't the main focus unlike here. Do planes need to be nerfed? Perhaps, but your reasoning doesn't sound like a solid reason to do so. There shouldn't be any expectation you would survive a hit from anything in the pvp of realistic or simi realistic games, especially those that promote thinking stealth, and tactics.
